My grandmother is in Valley Ranch Nursing Home. She enjoys the company of the other residents and the staff. The nurses and CNAS are very polite and caring. I visit my grandmother several times a week and she always seems pleased with the care she is getting. I will say this, it does seem to be getting better than it was when we first brought my grandmother. They have some new staff and new bosses, and they are very nice to the residents. The administrator Debbie is always willing to help and the new nursing boss Arlene is nice also. Definitely better with these ladies around. I would recommend Valley Ranch to anyone looking for a great place for their loved one.

I toured The Springs of Pinnacle Mountain Health & Rehabilitation. It was a nice, clean, friendly facility. It was basically like the other facility, but not quite. They go downstairs. They have to go to the dining room or they can eat in their room. The staff was friendly. They do have a little bit of activities and stuff for the elderly to do.

The biggest complaint I have about this facility is the lack of care. There is no consistency. There are a handful of those CNAs who truly do care and who always have a positive upbeat attitude. There are one or two nurses who go above and beyond the call of duty when they can. The administration turns hands quite regularly they just fired the DON. They just can't seem to get a good food service the food is always served cold and most of the time they don't have eating utensils. The doctors and RNs or APNs who come to the facility or only concerned with one thing and that's blood sugar. They don't seem to care about the person's total care My husband needs wound care and podiatry care although the podiatrist did come in they don't follow through on anything My husband needs to be turned regularly due to being bedridden people don't come to a nursing home to die or to get worse The whole purpose of a nursing home is to help those patients who can no longer take care of themselves or the families can no longer take care of them they don't come here to have their skin broken down and to have quality of care come to a complete stop but that's what has happened here this is not a disgruntled family member speaking but a heartbroken family member who sees just how bad the lack of care is I pray no one has to ever make this decision because the quality of life is just not right I pray no one ever has to bring a loved one here

I went to this facility to actually apply for a job. My 1st impression of the facility was Wow! Beautiful! Once I entered it was a smell of urine. Maybe that's normal, maybe not. But, the whole entire time I was there filling out my application I heard this lady by the name of Debbie, (which I found out she was the administrator) constantly being loud and unprofessional. I heard her discuss alot of people business and she comes off as rude and mean! The rest of the staff I ran across was pretty nice. But, 1 bad apple can spoil the bunch! I will advise anyone to rethink being involved with this place period. When the administrator go down, she might bring everybody down!

To be honest I feel the staff does well caring for the patients. However great improvement needs to be done as far as awareness to the change of a patient condition. My mother was severely dehydrated and sodium level over 200 yes this sent her in Kidney failure and she died. Not one single person has called and offer there condolence and state they have to hold her patient fund till after they get paid from Medicare.. Debbie the Administrator is rude and needs to work on her skills I'm trusting you with my love one and this is the attitude you display. I DO NOT recommend you take anyone there if you truly want the best care. The Facilty looks nice but they are not concern..

Valley Ranch Nursing & Rehab seems to be always clean. The patients all seem to be well taken care of, and the people are really nice. So far, it has been working out very well for my husband. They happened to have an opening there when I needed it. I haven’t tried the food, but he eats most of the stuff that they give him. Sometimes on the weekends and the evening meal, they have sandwiches, but most of the time they have hot meals.

My grandmother has dementia, which has been progressing to Alzheimer's disease. Her condition was to the point where she needed 24 care so we took her to Valley Ranch Nursing and Rehab Center. She liked being around other people her age. I also think that constantly not being around people that she knew she should recognize helped keep her confusion and frustration down. I liked the facility. It was clean and never had that typical nursing home smell. It was well secured. A special code had to be used to get in while on the inside someone constantly monitored the locked door to make sure that none of the residents could leave without a family member. The staff was super friendly and helped whenever we had questions. The facility is in a nice, safe neighborhood. I also liked that they had games and activities for the residence. My grandmother is an avid word search enthusiast so having that readily available and accessible was important to us because that was one of the few things that keep her calm and she can still do without assistance. I like this place and would recommend it.

This facility is really nice and it's a newer facility. I went to visit this facility with one of my friends to see her family member. I was excited to see how new the facility looked and how clean the facility was as well. The staff member meet us at the front door and they were really nice. I can remember right away someone asked if we needed any help finding a location and we didn't because my friend knew were we needed to be. When we made to our location the room was really nice and cozy. The room looked as if we were in an apartment. The room was cleaned along with the restroom inside of the room as well. While we were there I had to receive hep to locate the restrooms and one of staff members were really nice and friendly to assist me. As we were walking through the hallway I was so impressed because the facility was really nice and clean with a nice aroma. Also, I really liked how the building was decorated. Next, while we were there visiting the staff members were doing activities that everyone seem to enjoy. And they even asked if we would like to play the game. I thought this was really nice of them to do that. We did stay around a little while for lunch and we were told that the food is great. We didn't stay and eat, but the food smelled really good. And there were many people getting ready to eat. You have the choice to eat in the dinning area or you order and go to your apartment/room. My overall thoughts is that this facility is really nice and the staff members were very friendly and helpful.
