I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

Do they have a staff? Rude and rough. They put my mother-in-law in a chair. And make her sit, even when she wants to lie down. Told us we were not on the call list. We are out of state. Her son checked on her yesterday and said we were on the call list.

Very bad place. Some not all staff man handle the patients. Are very rough with them. Very rude with family members as well. Day shift takes a long time to come in when we push call button. Had to change our grandmother ourselves because it was over an hour before they came in. Would not recommend this place at all if you love and care for your loved one.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My mother was in this facility for about 5 days, she was much worse then when She was put in the first day and began to show signs of distress, dementia, from being isolated way in the back of facility, she did not have dementia before she entered the facility, the nurses seemed very nervous and over staffed and distracted, my mother had not had a shower or bath the entire time she was there, she was obviously neglected and what seemed to be forgotten by the staff, The smell and sad apperence of the other patients sitting in the hall was very disheartning to me. I forcfull took my mother out of the facility, the nurse told us my mom who only had a small ss check that medicare would bill her thousands of dollars for taking her out without Dr orders. I choose to bring her home and allow her to die in peace in whcih she did. And I do not regret my decision.

My dad was there 2 years ago for PT they were great to us then. We are now back after a UTI-hospital stay. He got there about 3:30 pm and everyone was super helpful to get him checked in and into clean-dry clothes and some dinner ( turkey-spaghetti was amazing ) From the CNA-nurses-PT-admin staff have been nothing short of GREAT. Super happy with everyone taking such good care of my 88 year old dad.. thanks a millon

St. Elizabeth's Place has been great for my mother. She has had a great time with the other resident while attending rehab to return home. Everyone treats her with respect and encourages her daily. Very thankful.

I am a friend or relative of resident

This place is awful!!!! We put our mother here because her Dr. was on staff here and a relative worked there. My Mom had pneumonia and they would not send her to a hospital. They said we were being overly concerned and "dramatic". My sister, an RN, called an ambulance and took my Mom to a hospital herself. Five days later my Mom died in the hospital from guess what?????? Pneumonia When we finally were able to track down the owner (private nursing home run by a corporation) they gave us back the money my Mom had contributed to her care (admission of guilt??) Use at your own risk.
