I moved into the Country Club Village Retirement Community. I have a cottage with two bedrooms and two baths. Every other week, I have a housekeeper. It has everything that I need. The price was reasonable. The staff was excellent. We have all kinds of activities here. The food is very good. All the appliances are furnished if you want them. The refrigerator has probably the smallest double door, and it doesn't have any water or an ice dispenser. It doesn't meet the proper criteria. There is a large area where you dine. They have a library upstairs and a game room, where you can play all kinds of cards and games. Once a week, they have happy hour. They have someone that entertains you, usually someone singing karaoke. It's a very good facility for what you pay for.

I went to Country Club Village Retirement Community. I love the location. The rooms were a nice size. The staff was very friendly. They made you feel welcome. Everything was very clean. The atmosphere was pleasant. You could easily feel at home there. I loved the layout and the walk-in closet. The dining area was well structured. Even though we didn't eat there, the way they explained it, it was ideal.

I toured the Country Club Village Retirement Community. It was enjoyable. They were quite hospitable and informative. The cottages had outdoor seating, like a deck or a patio, which I liked very much. I liked the activities they provide including trips to Little Rock and a dinner theater. The staff was very nice, and I enjoyed visiting and getting to know her. I checked out the dining area. I did not eat there, but I liked the idea that there were cookies and ice cream in the afternoon and you could get a bowl of soup if that's what you preferred at any time during the day. They also have a meal plan to choose from if you were in a cottage, you could choose to only have one meal a day in the restaurant or the cafeteria. They had a complete kitchen in the cottages.

I visited the Village in Nov 2022. Vicky, the host, conducted a tour. The location , cost, arrangements, activities facility and staff appear super for me as a single independent dweller. A winning feature was the travel benefits of staying at selected corporate locations for up to 10 days at no additional costs. The locations were right on my bucket list. My needs /wants are group worship area, fitness workout area, fix my own food, Tennis, Pickleball, TV, hiking, reading, and near storage, VA facilities and relatives. The cottage room sizes and floor plans, amenities, and relative location to the central facility was convenient. The costs were acceptable for my budge. The apartments looked nice but not my preference. Parking is good but would prefer a covered area. Vicky indicated that options could be considered. Plus the pleasure of having guests overnight. The village is perfect, okay just right, for me. Love the area but still want to enjoy my California dream for a few more months.

We've toured Country Club Village Retirement Community. What they have is independent living, but they have facilities and people that come in to take care of you for assisted living. They're all cottages there. It was very nice and the staff was very accommodating. It's just that the waiting list was too long, it's over four years. The rooms were very, very nice, it's very homey and spacious. The dining area is in a bigger building. So if you're in the cottage, you have to walk to arrive at the building where you can take the meals. You don't have to sign up for meals, you can fix your own because the cottages have their own kitchen. They've got exercise rooms and they have lots of amenities, they also take you to your doctor's appointments.

We toured Country Club Village Retirement Community. I think the look is very good and very appealing. The inside of the cottages is very comfortable. I probably would go to a cottage as opposed to the other ones because it feels more like a home. Although, the apartment-type things are good, too. The food was good. Everybody was so helpful. I use a walker and so they were very accommodating in helping me with things. I would recommend it. I've been there twice. One time they had a buffet. I prefer sitting at a table, though. I think we had pork chops and I got a brown sauce on it. We also had vegetables, a little salad, and mashed potatoes were served. And then we had a little dessert. I thought it was very good. The dining area is very nice as well as the table settings. We had four people at the table. Two of them were my friends, and then myself and my husband. So, it was just very nice and very comfortable. The staff are very accommodating, very pleasant, and helpful. They did very well. They do a good job of keeping the place clean and everything looked fairly new in some spots.

I like the fact that Country Club Village Retirement Community has all of the amenities that I would want to have. They have a game room, a beauty salon, a dining room, and a theater room. It's very nice. The person during the tour was fantastic. She was a very nice lady, helped us and everything. As we passed by, all of the staff people that were working around were very welcoming. I liked it. It's just more than what we want to do at this time. They offer some games for them to do. We got to see them doing their physical exercises that are appropriate for older people. They have a weight room and a library.

I will be moving into Country Club Village Retirement Community. The facility was awesome. I was very impressed. They've got everything you need in there. I went there and signed a deal with them for an apartment. I wanted a cottage, but no cottage is available yet. They put me on a waiting list. The apartment is pretty nice. I'm paying a little more for it because it's a two-bedroom apartment, but it's available and the location is great. The front porch faces south, so you get a lot of light. On the backside, I can park my motorhome about 50 feet away from the backdoor of the apartment, so that's pretty good. The staff that I've met was very thorough and concerned and made sure you got what you needed. I've been impressed. It's open and you can come and go anytime you want. If you'll be gone for a couple of days, you just got to tell them, so they won't worry about you. It's an independent living, but they have a buffet and if you don't want anything on the buffet, they have a full-time chef that oversees the kitchen. You can order anything you want and the chef will prepare it for you. That's one of the things that impressed me. They've got an activity director. They've got a shuttle bus if you need to go to a doctor's appointment. They take you there and they wait on you and bring you back. They regularly run the shuttle bus to the VA in Little Rock.

My dad is in an apartment at Country Club Village Retirement Living, and it's a retirement center. He's been there eight years now. When he first got there, it was active, and a lot of things are going on. It's kind of changed because of Covid. There's not that much going on and not a lot of things for him to do. But at his age and the way he is, he just goes to eat and that's just it. They were good at first but I'm not very happy with them right now. His room is good. They've got nice apartments and cottages. They have a lady that comes in and cleans once a week, but now I have more help going in. I was doing it and it was getting me down so now I have someone come in and help because it's just a lot to it. He just really needs to move because he needs more care. Their staff is good. I'm friends with all of them. I like them and they like me, as far as I know. The staff is great, but I don't know about the company. They've just changed. Everything is so businesslike and not family-like. It was more family-oriented when he first got there, and they stopped that. Anyway, if you want a retirement place to go to, it's pretty nice. They have activities, but it's more or less for women. They've changed chefs and I like the other one better. But it's good food and they get fed well. They have blackjack and a lot of things for women's crafts. They used to go to picnics and trips, but Covid's ruined everything. They have a pool room, a card room, and an exercise room. He did go to exercise classes and bingo. They've got a little movie theater, too. It's a good place for a younger person than daddy. They go up on your rent every year and maybe it's because of the economy they have to go up. All he's got to pay for is his cell phone. I like the people in the kitchen, the waitresses, and the people that clean the room. They're very, very caring and they're so good to my dad. It's unbelievable. I also like the maintenance and the office people. I like them all and I have no complaint.

Right now, my in-laws are in Country Club Village Retirement Community. They're fantabulous. I love them. They're nice. It's a very good place. I like it. It's very nice. They provide food, and they have transportation. They have a lot of activities before COVID, and I'm sure they'll have more later on as well. They're a really good facility. They're very safe. My in-laws have the button. In case they fall, they push the button. They're a wonderful facility. I told my husband, 'We need to go there.' The facilities are very clean and very nice. They live independently in each apartment, but they're super nice, and they have housekeeping once a week. The food is very good. Before Covid, activities were awesome. Their activities are slowly coming back. I think they're comparable with other facilities.

Country Club Village Retirement Community would be fine for a lot of people, but my home is so much nicer than what they had to offer, and it was less expensive for me to stay in my own home than to go there. The upkeep looked good and everything. All they had were independent living and one- and two-bedroom cottages, which looked OK. They would also redo them after somebody moved out. Their marketing director took me on a tour and was very good at it. I appreciated what she did for me. They have a A 24/7 buffet that is good, and I think she told me they have 182 residents. They had a lot of activities and things to do for people who are kind of immobile, like I am, and everyone seemed to be happy. The facility looked nice and well taken care of.

If my mom is going to move, she'll go to Country Club Village. Everything was positive. I liked the little cottages. That's what Mom really likes. The other places we checked out didn't offer the little cottages. The facility was very nice and very clean. It was modern. The staff was really nice. They were nice, friendly, and very helpful. They have a library, an exercise room, a movie room, and a nice dining room. It felt homey. After somebody moves out, they always redo the flooring and the appliances. Outside was very clean and nice. They're really nice. They have little decks on the cottages.

Country Club Village Retirement Community has larger rooms, and they had a lot of accommodations. They have a lot of things for everyone to do. They're very, very busy all the time. The staff was delightful to us during the tour.

My mom and I visited the Country Club Retirement Community. The woman who toured us was very nice and very helpful. She was very honest with my mom's needs and whether she would fit in or not. She sort of agreed that mom needed more service than they can offer. The place was nice. It seemed cleaned and well maintained. It would be a nice facility if you are looking for independent living. It is close to a lot of services such as physicians, a hospital, and restaurants.

My mom is currently living in the Country Club Village Retirement Community. It has trees, it has a little stream that flows into it, and it's very pretty. The outside is very nice, it's quiet, and the food is very good there. They had lots of activities. My mom chose it over the other places in Hot Springs about eight years ago. She chose this place because she liked the nature aspect of it best. They have exercise class during the week every morning; they have bingo, ladder ball, and bean-bag baseball. They have different activities at night, too. They have a movie night, on Sundays they have church or spiritual service, and a couple of weeks ago they had a carnival on a Friday morning where people could go over, eat nachos and hot dogs, and have something to do. Friday afternoons they have something called a "happy hour," where they have snacks and drinks and things like that for them. There are just lots of things going on.

I went to Country Club Village, and I didn't like the fact that you have to eat in shifts. They had numbers on the tables, and I wasn't keen on that. The shower in one of the respite rooms was not suitable for me, and the respite room was on the upper floor. It looked clean. It was like a community, and they had cottages. The grounds were well kept.

We chose Country Club Village Retirement Community because it had everything I needed for my cousin, and the care that he needed. It was the right size, the right budget, the right location, and he got to keep his dog. It only offers independent living and you pay extra for a different company to come in for assisted living. He just doesn't like the food.

Country Club Village is very nice, it's independent living, and you have your own apartment. They have lots of activities for the seniors who live there, and they provide bus services to anywhere. It's just a very nice community. The staff treats me very well. They're excellent. The food is one of those things that made me consider this place seriously. They have the best food among those places I've gone to. I couldn't see anything else they could improve on as far as their services. The facilities are excellent, and they have on-site caregivers.

We visited Country Club Village. The layout was very nice, neat, and clean, and it really suits a senior citizen very well. It's just that we don't have enough money to go there. The staff was very good. The dining area was very good. We had lunch there and the food was excellent. Everybody was very nice. They really would like us to be there. A lot of people came up and talked to us. The place was very nice and very accommodating.

Country Club Village was nice. It was a little bit smaller, but it was a little pricey, and it wasn’t as active. The staff was very polite and courteous. The residents were courteous, too, but it was not what I would have expected. It had the nursing home view plus a homey atmosphere.

Country Club Village was nice and the people were nice. We saw an apartment for 2 people and a little house with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, and they were nice. The facilities were excellent, and activities were available. It was nice. The staff was very accommodating, and we appreciated the tour we had.

My friend likes Country Club Village very well. The food was good, but you have to go through a line which might be difficult for some elderly people to stand that long. They allowed you to have a pet -- which I think is wonderful. They also provide transportation which is another plus.

Country Club Village is an excellent place that we are currently considering. This is a very good place with excellent rooms and separate cottages for independent living. You can live inside if you need more help, so the facility is high on our list right now. It is also very clean.

I have some friends living at Country Club Village. The staff was very professional and courteous. I had a nice visit. The food was very good. They had a large dining room, and it was quite pretty. They had activities like bridge, bingo, movies, and arts and crafts. The rooms and apartments were quite nice. My friend was in a cottage. They also had apartments that were connected to the main building. You can have a pet if you live on the first floor of the apartment or if you have a cottage.

Country Club Village had a nice staff that showed us around. We were able to measure the cottages so I could see what furniture I can take. That was helpful. They gave us lunch, which they usually do, and sat us with someone who just moved there a year before so we could talk with them. The cottages were separate. You didn't have to live in the apartments that were in a long hallway. And being close to the outdoors was probably the biggest thing that we liked about it. They have line dancing, I'm hoping, because I line dance and do hot clogging. I'm very active. So if they don't have something I can do, I'll just go out and find something in the community. I'm still independent.

I like Country Village Club. The staff is wonderful, very helpful, and they take care of my parents well. They're very friendly and they get them around. The rooms are wonderful. My parents are not really into activities, but they have arts and crafts, exercises, different games, as well as dancing.
