I went to The Atrium at Serenity Pointe. The location was perfect because it was on the lake. The staff was friendly. They made you feel welcome. The place is very, very clean. The atmosphere was so welcoming and perfect, it couldn't get any better. Their bedrooms were a little smaller, but it was OK.

I toured The Atrium at Serenity Pointe. It is a beautiful place. It is located on a jut of land that goes out into Lake Hamilton which has beautiful views from all of the room. The condos that are for independent living are beautifully stationed with wonderful views of the lake, and that was the strongest thing about the location. The dining area is beautiful and the food was delicious. The staff was very hospitable and informative. I enjoyed the tours, as well as learning about the place. I visited their gym area and they had some workout stations. They have a beautiful indoor pool, and a beautiful seating area outside with a large fireplace. It's a very inviting place to get fresh air, and paths to walk around next to the lake, and lovely landscaping. I also saw a list of activities that they had going on each month. One of them included in this season of high school graduations, they were holding what they call a Senior Prom for the seniors who live there. They were also holding beautiful table settings in place for high tea for the ladies. It seemed that every one of the residents I came in contact with was very happy to be there. They were friendly and welcoming.

I toured the Atrium at Serenity Pointe. I was asking specifically about assisted living facilities, and they showed me some, and then they showed me the rest of it. I've been there several times with groups that I sing with, so I know the facility quite well, and it's very nice. I'm very pleased with what I've seen. Right outside their window there is Lake Hamilton, so it's a nice location. They showed me the one room that I asked about, and it was very good. I was very pleased with what I saw. The staff were very helpful.

My brother-in-law has moved into the Atrium at Serenity Pointe. We chose it because of location, the way that they treated their people, and just the feel of the facility. It did not feel like a nursing home. It felt like an extended care place. The meals are delicious. They could use some improvement on communicating with their residents the different things that are going on at the facility. I was just there last week, but I did notice that he had signed up for knitting. They could do a better job of letting them know what's available.

We are planning to move our parents to The Atrium at Serenity Pointe by the end of the month. One of the huge reasons we are choosing it is their staff-to-resident ratio. It is actually above the state guidelines, which was very important to us. The activities that they offer were ones that we think our parents would enjoy. The food looked fabulous. It was not like cafeteria meals, it was more like restaurant meals. The facility was located on the lake, which was a huge one. The staff was fabulous. He understood what we were looking for and how difficult it was for us. They had a swimming pool and a theater. It was more of a resort-type feel than an actual assisted living facility.

The Atrium at Serenity Pointe was very, very nice. The thing I like least is the cost. What I like best is the service. They have an exercise area and a swimming pool. You can get meals, too. Because of the price, I would rate them a three though. The staff were very, very kind. You could observe them doing their jobs in the assisted part. It's very good. They're very compassionate. They have those facilities. It's very nice. You can exercise and you can come and go as you please.

I toured Atrium at Serenity Pointe and it was fine. Karen was the person that showed me around, and she took me through the facility and explained and answered all my questions. The only thing I was interested in was independent living at this point, so there was no need in visiting the others, but she also showed me one room where it was for assisted living, but I'm not to that point yet. I was strictly interested in independent living. She showed me the swimming pool, the sauna, the dining room, and the breakfast area. She also showed me the movie room, and the room where they gather to play games; I guess you call it the recreation room. The staff were great, although all I saw was the receptionist -- she was very friendly -- and then Karen. She was very sweet and very accommodating to answering all my questions. She gave me a complimentary cupcake and it was delicious. I was there at 10:30, so I could say that it could use some improvement. Not a whole lot, but some improvement. It could have been just the time of day I was there. I know from here in Arkansas, people have been shorthanded, and you can't find people to work here because of the pandemic. That could be one of the problems, but it wasn't.

I was able to tour The Atrium at Serenity Pointe, and it was just absolutely beautiful. You sit down and order off of a menu, just like in a restaurant, and everything else was just first class. It was right on the lake. They have a beautiful setting there where you could walk out to the point and sit. I love the place, but it was just too expensive. I am not sure if I can live with the commotion, the people, and so on. I am kind of like a hermit here. I had my friends, and we used to shoot pool, go fishing, and play golf, but I don't know if I can live under those circumstances anymore. The food was really, really good. They also had a saltwater pool, if I remember correctly.

My mother moved into The Atrium at Serenity Pointe. Whenever I met with Karen from The Atrium, she knew everything about every patient there. She was very personable with every client or resident. That really warmed my heart, and then she told me a lot about the facility. Whenever I've seen it, it didn't feel bad. It wasn't four walls that they were going to look at. It was kind of like an apartment. They have their own refrigerators and their own bed with their bathroom. It's like a little studio apartment, and you get to bring your own furniture. They get to feel like it's their home. It was really important that she didn't just stare at four walls and sit in a hospital bed, and they do a lot of activities with her. They have memory care for her dementia. She's in assisted living, and she goes to memory care a couple days a week. She can do assisted living, and you can pay for a couple of days a week for her to go to memory care. It's not as expensive, because I don't have the money for her to strictly go to memory care. They're working with me on that, so that was nice. They told me what they were going to charge me, and they stuck to it. When she went in, they have their own doctor and nurses, and they've checked her blood and put her on medicines that she's needed for a long time. They worked with the family and notified us saying, "This is what we're going to do, and this is our plan," and it's been wonderful so far. The staff has been great. They call and give us updates regularly, and they send us pictures. They let us know everything that's going on, and they've been very sweet. When we checked in, they even let us sit down and eat with her, and we got to see that the food was great. They have bingo, movies, and a gym. They work with them on memory care, and they take them on walks. They went on a walk, and she called me and told me all about it and what they did. It's been wonderful. They really work with you. They have seven fireplaces, a little fountain, and you get to walk outside. It's almost like being on a cruise ship. There are trees in the middle of it. It's just absolutely gorgeous. I can't say enough about it. It's crazy that it can be this beautiful.

The Atrium at Serenity Pointe is where my mom will go because they have memory care, and in that way, she won't have to be shifted to another place. I have been there personally a couple of times, but my mother has not been able to go in and see everything. We have only been on the grounds. They have lots of grounds. You really feel like you're on an island of your own in that place. We did a Facetime tour with them. We've done everything with them but go in. The Facetime tour really did not do the place justice. This is a unique place. We have been on the grounds, but we have not been inside. We stayed outside and walked the grounds. They have a nice walkway built all the way around the facility. They even have independent condos if a person chooses to rent a condo because they're still very independent. They have more than just your assisted living and their memory care. They actually have independent living onsite as well. They did the best they could do with what they could do. They have a new director there and I got a phone call from her assistant today checking on me because I was in a bad car wreck. He called to check on me to see how I was doing. We haven't even moved in there to put a deposit down, and they know it's going to be months, but they still gave me a courtesy get-well kinda call. People don't do that today. That was very meaningful to me. They have been my first choice since we first started looking at this just because I have knowledge about the place.

I don't like it here in The Atrium at Serenity Pointe. I'm not getting the services I'm paying for. There is a great deal of deferred maintenance. The food is horrible; I've had better hospital food. Plus they forget orders. It's dreadful. I have to call and call but nobody answer the phone. They wouldn't give me my meals because they said I didn't call within the proper time frame. They have stupid activities like things that I would set up for five or six year olds. They have snow cones and plastic leis events. It is not sophisticated at all; they're really juvenile. They need more sophisticated activities, they need to maintain the property, and they need to have intelligent staff. The managers are intelligent, but the workers are not. The manager is a nice, smart lady, but the corporate management manages what they want and they just collect money, but they don't provide services.

I stayed at The Atrium at Serenity Pointe when it was a Sheraton. The facilities themselves were about the same as when it was a hotel. They had extremely long hallways. They have a movie theater and art classes. If I was looking for a place with activities, that would be the place to go. The only problem is the long hallways. They also had a swimming pool. The staff member during the tour was pleasant enough. The dining area was the same as when it was a restaurant. You have to go around the dining area to get to the hallway abd the rooms. It was a pretty good facility.

The Atrium at Serenity Pointe was very good. It just wasn't the place that my mother needed to be. It was all beautiful. A lot of the people that live in that place have really no issues. They live there because they're lonesome, they want to play cards and they want to go shopping with someone else. My mother has Alzheimer's and she wouldn't have fit in at all in that group. It was a very large community. It had a lot of crooks and crannies, and at the end of the halls, there might be stairs. It just wasn't for her. It was a beautiful place and the people were extremely nice. I had no problem with communicating with them. If you have a loved one that would fit in that environment, I would highly recommend it. My mother just was not one of those.

The Atrium at Serenity Pointe was very nice. They were very friendly, very warm, and receptive. I wouldn't feel uneasy having my family come here. The food looked delicious. The dining facility looked like a home's formal dining, which was nice.

We've decided that my wife is going to stay in The Atrium at Serenity Pointe. She’s in there now, and she’s going to be there for at least a month. They have everything. They have a chapel. They have a hairdresser and a beauty shop. They serve all meals -- 3 a day. They have snacks just about everyday. They have a bus that will take them to doctor’s appointments. The staff is very helpful.

The Atrium at Serenity Pointe is a very nice retirement community and looks like you are walking into a resort. They have a memory care facility as well. Their dining area is lovely and more like a restaurant, and the food is very good. It’s a very upscale place. They have happy hour in the afternoon, a movie theater, and a pool. They have indoor and outdoor recreation areas.

I visited the Atrium, but mother didn’t like it and thought it looked like a hotel. It was very nice but too upper class for her. It had lower level memory care. The rooms were down in the basement, and it didn’t look like there was much contact with the outside. The rooms were very nice, the staff was exceptionally nice, and the food was excellent. They had activities for memory care, and I saw them interacting with each other. It was expensive, but they could lower the cost for double occupancy.

We really like the Atrium. The people were pretty good. What I really liked about the place was it was situated on a lake where you could fish.

I visited The Atrium in scouting out a place for my own retirement residence. It is absolutely awesome. It is a beautiful center in a beautiful location and although close to town it gives the feeling of being more remote. The staff are wonderful people, the dining is tops, all of the services, amenities, activities, etc. available to the residents is top notch. I live approximately 70 miles from there and am telling people where I live about it.

I found everything about The Atrium at Serenity Pointe to be absolutely wonderful. The food was delicious; everything was fine. I didn't have any problem with anything there. There is fishing and going out on the lake, and they have bus trips. I didn't get into the activities very much. The staff was very good -- excellent. It had everything I wanted.

I think if I had a stroke and had to go into an assisted living, I would choose Atrium because they are also very prepared for what my needs would be. It's beautiful. They have one or two-bedroom apartments. They have a full-fledged dining hall that is open almost all day and part of the night. You can go in and get a breakfast at 1 o'clock in the afternoon if that's what you want and that appeals to me. They have just recently opened up some cottages that are set off on the bay but they're individual. If I couldn't walk, I wouldn't need a hoveround to get over there with beautiful concrete walkway all around the Atrium looking out over the lake. I could sit out there in the sun overlooking that lake for hours. I'm happy on the water. The food is great, I understand. They got a chef that they had there. The service in the dining room I saw was just wonderful. It looks like you're treated royally. The staff I've found were as polite and as efficient as they can be. They were on their toes the whole time. It has got a wonderful reputation. They have a library inside and that library is constantly supplied with new books from the library system and they have computers for your capability to work on. They have a swimming pool. They have sea water in there and then they have a hot tub. I'm sure there is a trainer there that does exercise programs. The Atrium is on my number one list.

The Atrium in Hot Springs is a 4-star facility. It's lovely and in my opinion, it's one of the best places in town. Their rooms are large and I like being something where I will be able to move around. They had lovely pools and an area for square dancing.
