My mother-in-law has moved into Golden Years Retirement Village. It's very good. We've been over there several times just taking her stuff. You can visit, but it has to be an outside visit. She's really wanting to go home. They had a hard time keeping her in for a while, so we had to move her to a different room that wasn't so close to the backdoor. They feed them three meals a day, make sure they take a shower, and just stuff like that. The staff is very good. It's very clean. They say that they get them pizza one or two nights a week, watch movies, play bingo, and stuff like that.

I went to Golden Years Retirement Village. The people were amazing. They seem to be good people. The lady that runs it was just outstanding. She was very helpful. She'd taken care of Dad when he would come down there, and she loved talking to him. You can bring your pet, so that's a good thing. You just gotta make sure that you're not disrespectful to other people with your pet. So that's just very dear because dad had a little dog and we were going to let him take his dog. Everything was amazing. The price range was very good, and this is in assisted living. The rooms are small. You just have to keep in mind that you're only probably going to get a bed and a recliner or maybe a dresser in the small rooms. If you could afford the bigger room, the bigger room would be nicer. But all in all, it was really good. The dining area was nice. They had a big, old, long table that everybody sat at or you could sit at individual tables. So we were up there when they were eating dinner. It seemed like every time I popped in when they were eating. They had good people there. They had games and bingo, puzzles and checkers, and all that good stuff. The laundry was included in the price, and cleaning the room was included in the price. It was nice on the outside and the inside, and it did not smell. There was not a smell or anything.

My mother lived at pink bud nursing home. The nursing staff is wonderful. The administration staff could do a better job assisting families.

My great-grandmother was a resident of Pink Bud. I was impressed with the kindness and patients of the staff. The nurses were always helpful and eager to go beyond just the expected, they were always aware of their residents and their needs. The meals that were served were enjoyable, and the kitchen staff was always careful to meet any special dietary needs of the residents and the family members that would come to visit. The only real down side was the amenities, there wasn't much extra other than a meeting hall, and the exercise room. Overall I would recommend Pink Bud Assisted Living very highly.
