My sister was a resident at Legacy for rehab services for almost 3 months. The therapy department, nursing staff, activities, were all very professional and caring during her time of stay. They showed compassion with their care, the food was good, we are very satisfied with the care she received. Would recommend for your family member!!

Our family member was admitted to Legacy from the hospital after falling at home. It is not a new facility, and we were concerned after reading the reviews, though most of the reviews we looked at were old. We were very pleasantly surprised by the caring, family atmosphere and the kindness of the nursing and administration staff. They are working on updating the rooms, and my mom said her therapy was very helpful. She enjoyed the food, especially the mashed potatoes. She is social and enjoyed the crafting activities and the Bingo. They worked with mom's insurance to pay for her therapy, and she came home much better than when she was admitted. It's an older home, but for our family, the care and concern for our family outweighed that.

The employees have bad attitude problems. Don’t know how to respect others. Does not take care of the residents as they should. Rooms are nasty, I’ve seen roaches and bed bugs.

We were very disappointed in Legacy. First of all, the room was horrible! The window was broken and patched with tape. There was a patch of Sheetrock abouve the bed that had rough unpainted Spackling . There was an electrical outlet with conduit and a outlet box that was one foot or so above the side of the bed ( which was against the wall. An elderly person could easily stick a hair pin into the unprotected outlet. The dsressers were in horrible condition with numerous scratches and scrapes. A very depressing environment. I can not recommend it at all.

My dad was admitted to their rehab and lost 17lb in 1 week. When we questioned this they told us he was eating 90 to 100% of his meals. The plugin's that his oxygen tank was in needed to be fixed ( the plug kept falling out of the wall). The place was dirty. I walked in at 8:30 in the morning found my dad having trouble breathing when I went she informed me she would be there in five minutes to give him a breathing treatment (she did come sooner than the 5 minutes) but by that time my dad was in cardiac arrest unlike the person above I told at the hospital my dad died on the way to the hospital. I feel that the legacy neglect caused my father's death. Would not recommend anyone send their loved one here.

The CNA's were great, but nursing and administration lied to us multiple times about how well my cousin was eatting and telling us he was eatting when he couldn't. The decision was made to put him back in the hospital for tests and we were told we would be able to admit him through admitting instead of going through ER, but once we got there, the hospital knew nothing about it. We ended up spending more than 5 hrs in the ER lobby before even getting back to a room and then another 3 1/2 hrs before he was admitted: all due to incompetence of the administration at Legacy.
