I came for rehabilitation at Salem Place Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and I liked it so I came as a permanent resident. The location was very convenient to my family and me, it was close to my daughters and son. The place was beautiful and very nice. There was a lovely garden area in the front and back and it was completely enclosed safely. The food was fine and there were different variety, it was better than the others. The activities were great and a lot of fun. We played bingo a lot, there was a library and rehabilitation room which we could use anytime we wanted. Everybody was really good and caring and I really liked the staff a lot. I knew we couln't have individual rooms but it would be nice if we could.

-5 stars. My grandfather was moved from the hospital and they never called to say he needed his stuff so he was in gross clothing. The director ignored me for a personal call. I needed specific paperwork and the botched it. I would be afraid to have my family stay here. I have him safe now. No thanks to anyone here. How dare you guys even pretend to be here for the elderly.

This assisted living facility was a great place for my grandmother to be. I was brand new and everything was clean and updated. The staff and the nursing facility was very nice and pleasent to work with. They were very attentive to my grandmother and were well equipped to deal with any situation that arose with her. I was not very satisfied with the way that they were feed because it seems that they were treated more like children than adults but I understand that some of the adults in the center were unable to feed themselves. Weekly doctor visits were provided to my grandmother and the results from those visits were made known to us for good and bad reports. The center also had a physical therepy wing that assisted the residents with issues that they may have had. My grandmother could not walk when she was admitted to the center but with regular physical therepy that seemed to improve. All off the therepists were very respectful and were knowledgable to the issues that my grandmother had and helped her to overcome those issues. My overall experiance with this assisted living facility was a good one. I was very clean, the staff was very knowledgable and friendly. I would recommend them to anyone with loved ones that they are struggling with the decision to place them or not.

When my great grand mother first moved in we were told that they would be moving into a new nice faculty in less than a year in which they did. The first facility she lived in was very nice and homely in the inside even know the outside of the building was out dated. The one thing that surprised me was that my grand mother never complained about much of anything, she enjoyed the staff the other people living there and also the food and activities they provided. After a year she moved into the new facility they built and it was really nice. it included everything she wanted even a church. I would visit three to four times a week and they had a nice garden flower area out we could go and the staff always made me feel welcomed. I found it easy to check her out when she came home on for holidays and family functions. When ever her days became numbered and she passed the staff and doctors there were very helpful in helping us deal with are loss. I would strongly recommend this nursing home to any family

I have been very pleased with the Salem Place Nursing and Rehab Center in Conway, Arkansas. I have had both an uncle and a grandparent stay there. The staff are professional in every meaning of the word. I have found them to be friendly, caring, empathetic, and gentle to all of the senior citizens that live there. The nurses treat everyone there like family and there is never the feeling that these people are a burden or trouble for anyone. Instead, these seniors are allowed to live out their golden years with the dignity that they deserve. One thing I would improve upon though is the building itself. It is a relatively old establishment and has not been renovated in awhile. I feel that a few 'updates' would go a long way in making the entire experience even better for everyone.
