My mom has lived at Greenhurst for approximately 8 years due to multiple Strokes. During this time she has been absolutely so well taken care of that she's gained weight and is as healthy as she can be for a 97 year old lady. Never one time when I've entered Greenhurst have I smelled anything related to a nursing home. It smells like home. I know Jonas and his staff take care of our loved ones more than any place they could be. I know this because I retired as an Adult Protective Service investigator and have gone into many homes and know the difficulty of keeping them clean and sanitary. Greenhurst nursing home does this. They have my five star rating.

My mom is going into Greenhurst Nursing Center. She has been there in rehab before, it is a nice, clean place, and they seem to take care of their patients well. The staff has been really good to the families and the patients. They need to have more private rooms. Everything else seems to be fine.

My mother is living at Greenhurst Nursing Center. They are very open to suggestions and ideas and are very accommodating when it comes to residents' personal preferences. Everything seems very, very clean to me. They were constantly cleaning while I was there. I found it to be very pleasant.

My grandfather moved into this facility shortly after we discovered he was having trouble remembering to take his medications. The nursing staff were exceptional to him. They gave him as much independence as possible, but made sure he was well cared for when he could not do things for himself. They gave him his privacy when he requested it and treated him with dignity and respect.I felt that was very important for him to have as a grown adult, and a war veteran. They did not treat him like a child, as I have seen other nursing homes do. The facility was very clean and odor free which made it feel much more comfortable than others. There is a duck pond out front that some of the residents seemed to enjoy. However, the path to the duck pond should be more accessible to residents as only some are able to walk the path. Overall, it is an exceptional nursing home. I have very few complaints.

I have visited this facility numerous times. It is a very nice place. The grounds are beautiful and looks as if the owners and residents take pride in it. There is a beautiful pond right out front with a dock. It is common to see residents fishing or feeding the geese. The owners are brothers that are very friendly. You see them frequently visiting with the residents. Inside the building is very nice. It doesn't have the familiar nursing home smell. It is clean and orderly. There are areas of the home that have that cozy feel and you will find the residents gathered there. They do a lot of activities with the patients. They bring all kinds of entertainment in regularly. I have even seen people bring pets in to visit with the residents. The employes are always very friendly and pleasant. They are willing to offer assistance. The nurses appear very educated and take great care of the patients. There is also assisted living apartments on the grounds and often times that is wear the spouse of some of the residents live. They are able to enjoy meals in the resident hall with their family members. This is a great facility and I would gladly have one of my family members reside at Greenhurst if the need ever arouse.
