Not a very nice experience, every time I went to visit our loved one, we had to harass the workers to change her. She had unexplained cuts and bruises, and they put the broken mirror closet door back in after we had removed it, making it very dangerous. She lost the will to live, and passed before we could move her.

My husband and I went about two weeks ago, and we liked what we saw. The people seemed very nice. And, it is very close, so we are happy. This is where we are going to be putting my mom, and it is called the Webb's Home. New owners just took over, so they jumped into doing renovations. They're putting in new carpeting and painting, and they've got plenty of bathrooms. They were really big and wide with showers in it. They provide three meals a day and snacks. They have two living rooms with TV's, and they have monitors all over the walls. They monitor all the hallways and the living area, and I liked that. There is an area on the side of the house with all chairs and stuff and a little grass area. At night, they light pretty torches, and they could sit out there if they want. The owners were right on the property there, and sometimes they would do barbecues on the weekend. The rooms seemed clean, big, and comfortable, and they came with TV's in them. The owners seemed like very nice people, so we were talking to them a lot while they were taking us on the tour. They seemed like they really care about the people, and it was clean. We live in the next town over, so it is very convenient. And, it was very reasonably priced too; it was $90 a day.

Webb's Adult Care Home was a terrible place, clean enough, but they couldn't handle my mother. In fact, they sent her to a hospital, and they sent her to a nursing home, which was even worse. They certainly tried, but I was not pleased with the care she got. It's probably not their fault because she was 104, and they just weren't equipped for 24/7 care for somebody of her age, but one of the women who took care of her mentioned to my daughter that my mother was a crazy old lady.

This is a large rancg style home facility, The housr is nice and is surrounded by trees and greenery. They have a nice back porch and yard. They are licensed for twenty residents. There are private and semi-private bedrooms. The bathrooms and rooms are handicapped equipped. They do housekeeping and laundry. They do home cooking with three meals and snacks. The food is good and they try to offer a variety, They have a registered nurse who comes in and is on call. The residents go out to own doctors. They do transport. All the caregivers are certified. They rarely have independent residents, most are assisted. The staff seems nice and helpful. They do activities in home as exercises, bingo, and board games. There are a lot of one on one activities. They have birthday parties and other celebrations. They have their own van for outings and events. This a clean and friendly place.
