I went to look at Prestige Assisted Living at Sierra Vista. The apartments were very spacious. I enjoyed the tour. The staff showed me a studio and a one-bedroom, and they were both very nice. The studio is a little bit small because I also have two dogs that live with me, so it would be kind of cramped with the two dogs. The one bedroom would probably work out a little bit better, so I could have a bedroom and a living room area. They accept pets here. They have appliances in their studio and one-bedroom apartments. You don't need to bring anything with you. They have three meals a day. They have plenty of activities, so you don't get bored. They have a microwave, a small refrigerator, and a sink. The bathroom is very nice. The person who took me around was the director, and she was very knowledgeable. During the tour, if I had questions, she would answer them.

We toured Prestige Assisted Living at Sierra Vista. They took us to a studio, and it was just a bed and a small little kitchen and stuff like that. We also saw the place where they ate and did some activities in their dining area. The facility looked pretty clean. The carpet was ripped up when you got off the elevator. It looked like it could have been pretty dangerous for people that lived there. They had a patio out back of the facility through the dining area. There was no activity going on. The rooms looked okay but pretty small. They had a bus outside.

I went to Prestige Assisted Living at Sierra Vista. I liked everything about the place. I really liked the lady that we talked to and did the tour. The place is nice, and the rooms are nice. I didn't have anything bad to say about it. The staff who gave me the tour was very informative and professional. She answered all the questions. They have everything you need. They have all the stuff we needed. The place was clean. I thought the room sizes were perfect. They're not really big, but they're not too small. It is close to where we're at. It's near to everything you need.

I was able to visit Prestige Assisted Living at Sierra Vista. The visit went fine, but it is just that the cost is beyond my capabilities. The staff showed me a room and all the amenities and everything. We went through a lot, but I can't afford what they want for their quarters. It would be comfortable, but with my wife needing 24-hour health, I don't know how close by help would be if she needed it. When you are in a larger facility, sometimes help is not as quick as you would like it to be because of other people. It was a little more than what I really envisioned. The staff was very communicative, and she explained everything, she did a good job. They have a patio, an exercise area, a group area for different activities, and a library. They have quite a bit.

I have known Prestige Assisted Living at Sierra Vista since it opened up. It's an older community than my mother's current community, but it has more elevators. If she needed assisted living I would recommend this place for her. They showed me an efficiency apartment there because they couldn't show me a one-bedroom or two-bedroom. One thing I like is that they have a step-in bath, the kind that has a door where you step in and fill it up. Those are nice and I didn't see those in other places. They have a game room, meeting room, the carpeting is a little worn, and so is the paint. There's a few minor things they could fix here and there because the place is showing its age. It's a little dated, but not bad at all, but they could use a little refurbishing or touching up.

We visited Prestige Assisted Living at Sierra Vista. I think it was very clean, very well organized, and the people seemed to be really involved in the activities. The dining set up seemed to be a very happy place. Some of the rooms were small, but adequate. They had a one-bedroom apartment available and it was very nice. The residents decorated the place the way they wanted, and it was very creative. We did not try the food there, but the dining area was like a small restaurant with menus, and it was definitely welcoming.

Prestige Assisted Living at Sierra Vista didn't work out for my wife. There were no activities for the month, and all they did there was sit. The workers were friendly, but it's way overpriced for what we got. The staff was friendly, but all they did was take care of the people. The residents sat out there on their own, there were no activities, no music, no TV, and no one to talk to. The rooms were clean and good. There was nothing wrong with the rooms at all. My wife wasn't too happy with the food, and it didn't look appetizing to me. I tried to talk to a couple of the residents, but they were worse than my wife because they didn't talk at all.

Prestige Assisted Living at Sierra Vista was very nice, clean, and seemed pretty, but a little pricey. The grounds were very good. Everything was good. It wasn't right in town exactly. It was a little bit outside, so it was a little quieter there. I met a couple of the staff members and they were very informative, answered all my questions, and were courteous. I would recommend this place.

I like that Prestige Assisted Living is clean and does not smell like an old folks' home. The food is really good. My mom likes her room. It's a one-bedroom apartment with a helpful maid service that comes in once a week. I really like the size of the room because it's easy for her to get around. The staff is wonderful. My mom gets along with all of the helpers, the RN, everybody. They are really nice people. I am giving them a perfect rating because we haven't been unhappy at all with anything. I would highly recommend this place.

We chose Prestige Assisted Living at Sierra Vista, and so far it has been wonderful. The staff is very caring. It's like a home setting -- wonderful place. Their rooms are bright and cheery. It's extremely nice. Their dining area is like going to a restaurant. They have menus, and they can choose what they want to eat. They have different activities every day. They have games, and people come in and entertain them. There is something going on all the time.

I thought Prestige had a very active activity schedule. Their calendar was full and particularly I noticed the ice cream social. The woman called me back, and I told her that the ice cream social sounded interesting to me. She said that they were having a tap dancing group come in to entertain the residents as well. She said I can enjoy any of the activities even though I didn't live there. I had a tour, and it was just fine. I thought there was a lot of food -- there were three meals a day. Then there was another room where there were snacks available all the time. As for the staff, there was one woman, and she was very nice and friendly. They also have a special section for Dementia and Alzheimer's which is totally separate. Another nice thing is they only have I think a total of a hundred people, and I wouldn't want anything so large. I didn't see anything wrong.

They gave me a good tour at Prestige. They were very friendly. It was a beautiful place. The staff was very cooperative. The rooms were very spacious. They had their own bathroom and a refrigerator. The dining area was beautiful. They had a lot of activities. The grounds were well kept, and they had adequate parking. It was very close to the mall.

I like Prestige very much as they’re very caring, accommodating, and attentive to my mother’s needs. They have gone out of their way to make her feel welcome and help with her experience as she has some special needs. She has problems vocalizing due to her illness, and this just really made her feel at home and helped everybody in the facility understand my mother’s special issues and be comfortable with them. It’s just a really good place, and I like it although very expensive. It’s very nice, and my mother deserves that and so much more. Mom has been there since September, and she is very happy.

I didn't feel comfortable putting my wife at the Prestige. The people were nice, but the rooms were a little smaller. They had a good program and everything, but it was kind of dark. It wasn't airy and it looked more like a hotel than an assisted living place. They were understanding and helpful, but I just didn't feel comfortable. My wife had strokes and seizures periodically, and the medical care that was available here in Sierra Vista didn't meet the needs that my wife would have. So I had to widen my search to Tucson.

Prestige Assisted Living was very friendly, from the administrator right down to the housekeeping. It is very clean, very friendly. They seem very concerned about their clients. They gave me a complimentary meal, and it was very good. It was really nice there. I really enjoyed the administrator and everybody there.
