My brother has moved into Grace Assisted Living. I like the general manager, Elizabeth, the most. Her level of caring and capability and cost was part of the equation as well. It's a well-kept, succinct, and homestyle community. It's a convenient location. We haven't had any problems. His room is clean. It's an efficient bedroom.

The first place we visited was Grace Assisted Living. We didn't see anything we didn't like. It was a nice home. It was well-kept. There weren't any undue odors. They only take a small number of patients in that home. Everybody had a private room and a private bath. The lady that we talked to was very nice in answering all our questions and being very cordial and understanding of our situation. The facility was very nice, modern, up-to-date, and very clean. We were pleased that all the doors and windows were alarmed because I think when we place my sister, she is going to be upset, and I think she's going to be trying to go home back up to the mountains, so that'll be important for her safety.

Grace Assisted Living was in a cramped area. It was too small. My mom would not have been able to go around in a wheelchair in the facility without running into something. It was two houses converted into a facility, and both houses were pretty small. The staff who gave the tour was great. She was wonderful. She even had a dog that lived among everybody. The dog went between both houses, too. The rooms were pretty small. My mom would have only been able to put in a single bed, and that was it. The place was fine. They were great. It was small housing. They house five people in each house. The backyard was pretty small, it wasn't very wide, but they had it set up for wheelchairs. They had a kitchen that had full working staff in it.
