My father is in Vista del Rio. He's very happy. Everything's very convenient for him. He was in an apartment and now he has people to visit with and stuff, so he's much happier. The staff is very nice. His room is excellent. So far, so good. I've eaten there and the food's very good and the dining area is bright, nice, and clean. He has a patio off of his room and it's very nice.

The ladies at Vista Del Rio are very kind, very nice, and very helpful, but it's an older facility. I didn't like that they didn't have individual kitchens. Their refrigerators were super tiny, even if it was for one person. I know that they're updating a room, and overall the prices are reasonable. The staff was very, very nice and very generous. They take their time to show you and explain. I like that and I appreciate it. They were still cleaning some areas that were gonna be up for grabs and they were still needing to paint, but I give them credit. I can kind of see once they would get it done, they would be a lot nicer.

I toured Vista del Rio. They're going to be upgrading their facility by making changes. So I don't know if that's going to be done by the time I'm looking or not. They had one and two bedrooms. It came out nice. They had nice people living there that I could communicate with, residents just like me. They have a cafeteria for food with three meals a day. So that's another place that I can go to to talk to people. So, I liked it. I have one person who assisted me during the tour. She's very kind and very courteous. She showed me some things along the way, while we were walking down the hallways and going through some of the rooms that they had where people were watching TV and doing different things. So, it was very good. I went into the lobby and they had a big desk there, and people should be sitting around. It felt comfortable and I enjoyed it.

Location is one of the main reasons why we liked Vista del Rio and the other is it seems like a very nice facility. Everybody seemed so friendly and helpful. It was spotless. We had one meal there. It was not spectacular, but it was good. They have a library and a pool, and then they talked about how they have different programs and entertainment from time to time. It seemed like a very congenial place.

I toured Vista del Rio. The best thing about them was their amenities, the Life Alert, and the three meals a day. The least thing was that it's an older community and it had a small refrigerator and sink in the room. The staff who assisted me was very helpful and very pleasant. And because it was lunchtime, everybody was pretty much eating. The dining area was very nice. The place was very clean. It smelled good, too.

The problem we had with Vista del Rio was that the apartments that were available were on the small side. They were smaller than my friend would have cared to be in. But everybody was friendly. The cleanliness of the facility was average, and there was nothing that stood out. It was an older facility. It was clean, but it was starting to show its age.

Mother has lived at Vista del Rio for a year. She has never been happier. She loves the staff, from Director to Housekeepers and Dining Room workers. She enjoys activities with other residents who all appreciate Bruce, who works hard to keep life at Vista vibrant. Mother feels like she has both community and family now. She enjoys the independence of Vista del Rio, is thrilled with her apartment, and all you have to do is see the smile on her face to know the joy in her heart. I visit her often and share both meals and activities with her. At 98 (perhaps the eldest Senior there) she plays Bingo, sandbag baseball, other games, and goes to special events. The recent St. Patrick's Day party was quite a hit. Vista del Rio has proven to be the perfect balance of of independence and assistance for Mother. With plenty of delicious meals provided, along with housekeeping, utilities and other amenities...and with a caring community of staff and friends, Mother has found her happy place. Thank you, Vista del Rio!

The apartments at Holiday Vista del Rio were nice. I looked at a one-bedroom apartment and the layout was nice. It only had a kitchenette though, (I wanted a full kitchen and that made a difference) and they had air conditioning units in the wall in every room. It was not central air conditioning, which was what I wanted. Everything else in the apartment was nice. The staff was very nice. They took me around and they knew I was having a hard time walking. So, she slowed way down to accommodate me. They had a nice swimming pool and there were people playing cards. It smelled like pee and it was a long walk to everything, and it made it hard for me to get down to the far end.

My father-in-law moved into Vista del Rio yesterday. There's only one level and that's independent living. His room is nice, bright, and cheerful. It has a huge dining area where everybody was coming up and saying hi to us. Everybody's very friendly, and the staff is just amazing. They play cards. They have a swimming pool and a piano. They had a comedian yesterday. You can put together puzzles. They have just a lot of activities like that. We just had lunch there today. We're sitting there, and the food was very good. We had to add salt, but that's to be expected for a retirement community. They have a nice selection of activities. The place is older, but it's still in good condition.

Vista del Rio was a fantastic place. They were very friendly and very helpful, and the residents all looked really happy. It seemed to be very comfortable being there. It was gorgeous and I would go there in a heartbeat. I didn't have an appointment with them, I just walked in and the person who was there took me around, showed me everything, and introduced me to people. It was a very, very welcoming place. Everybody had masks on, and it was very clean inside, so there was no clutter anywhere or anything. They were great.

Vista del Rio was nice. I really liked the two-bedroom, one-bath. I liked the location of it. The staff was wonderful. I had lunch there, and the food was good. However, I'm on a low-salt, low-sugar, more vegan diet, and one of the issues I'm going to have is that I don't think a lot of these places compensate for that. The staff showed me the courtyard outside and it was nice, and the library was nice, too. I have a booklet he gave me to review the prices and everything they have.

I toured Vista del Rio and met with Kelly. She was fantastic, very informative, and very helpful to let me view three of the apartments. She set up a future appointment for my mom so that she could look at the residents too. The rooms were very nice and I loved the balconies. The living area was quite large, very open, airy, and looked like they'd all been recently refurbished. The dining area looked very open and clean, but I didn't have an opportunity to look at any of the menus of the food. They had cooking classes, arts and crafts, swimming, movies, a library, and lots of different things going on.

It was a good experience visiting Vista del Rio. The staff was very accommodating. They are one of our top considerations because it is a good community. I thought they are actually very involved with the residents. It is a lively community. It is a place that you could look forward to living. They had everything. They had a good restaurant, and people were happy and busy. It looked like a good place to live. The apartments were small though, and that was the thing that worried me. They also didn't have a full kitchen in their 1-bedroom.

I will be moving into Vista del Rio on the weekend. I saw everything on my tour. It's clean, inviting and the people were very nice. I interacted with some residents briefly, but because there were other appointments behind me, you have to kind of stick to the timeline, so we didn't get a lot of visits, but the people were pleasant and said hello. There's a full-time activities director, activities in the pool, different games and things that they get together for, and they showed me where you can do other cooking and things in their activity center. It was a very full experience.

As a whole, my experience at Vista del Rio has been very nice and has been very good. The staff members are very friendly and very on top of things. I have a studio apartment and it is plenty big for me. I brought my own furniture here. The dining area is very clean, the food is very good, and they serve three meals a day. They also have activities all the time. They decorated our walkers for Christmas, they make gingerbread cookies, and they have poker and game nights. The living atmosphere is pretty nice. It is second best to a home naturally, but it is very nice and I enjoyed it.

My friend likes Vista del Rio pretty well. It seemed like a better place than the others we had looked at. His room is very nice. They've got a nice dining room, exercise room, a pool table, and a barber. They come in and clean his room every week. He's got cable TV and a pool there. He's got about everything he needs. The staff was nice and very adequate.

Vista del Rio was very nice. It had a lot of activities and the food was really good. The population is so much older and I didn't feel like that would be a good place for me to be right now; maybe sometime later. Also, there's the cost. The people were very nice and the rooms seemed to be very nice. They have a salon, a patio, and a swimming pool.

We will be moving into Vista del Rio. They offer three meals a day, they have a very clean, and very friendly facility, and they have resident ambassadors who make you feel very welcome. They have very nice meals prepared by a very good chef with good portions. The amenities are exceptional, they have computers, games, and you can stay in your apartment and get nursing care until you pass away or go to the hospital. They have parking available for us.

Vista del Rio didn't have the regular person that tours us around the community, so I don't think we got to see everything. He did show one of the apartments, but it was not up to par. The community was older. The staff was very kind and nice though. We did see all the activities rooms. We also saw a pool.

Vista del Rio was an answer to my prayer. I will move there once I sell my mobile home. As soon as you walk in, you feel like you're in a fancy, big, luxurious hotel. I had lunch there; the dining room was great, and the food was delicious.

I loved Vista del Rio. I really enjoyed the tour, and I enjoyed meeting the residents and the personnel, so my family and I decided that this is where my mom is going to go. They have a pool table, a library, computers, movie nights, and outings. I really enjoyed the list that they had of activities, which was one of the reasons why we chose it. Because it is not a bunch of separate buildings, the residents have a chance to really socialize together and I like that, instead of it looking like an apartment complex, which is what most of them look like.

Vista del Rio was good. My friend went downstairs and ate with other people at different tables. He could go out within his room, go out and visit with people, the tables had tablecloths all set for them, and everything was clean. He would ask the other residents how they were doing, and they would answer, “Great.” I think it was a great place.

I like that Vista del Rio was all inclusive and available. The thing we didn’t like about it was there was no cook top in the apartment. The women who gave me the tour was very nice, kind, and very informative. I was really impressed with the staff. the carpet was a little old.

Everything is excellent in Vista Del Rio. The staff is very helpful, and the food is good. They have a lot of activities. They have bingo, scrabble, and entertainment coming in. They play cards. They have different things like crafts. My mom doesn’t really do any of that stuff, so I do not really know how much they have. Her room is 390 square feet. It’s the perfect size for her. She has her kitchenette and an area for her bed, plus the closet space and refrigerator. Everybody has been very helpful in getting her set-up, and they call me if there is an issue, but we haven’t had any. She loves it there, which is a good thing.

The people were great at Vista del Rio, and the place was very nice. We were invited to have lunch, and the food was very good. They made homemade cooked foods. Their dining room was very nice. It was open, and the service was great The cook came out and met us.

Vista Del Rio is probably the best place I saw, and if I had the money, I would have moved in the day I saw it. It was new, and the staff was lovely. I liked everything about the facility and the fact that you don’t need to go outside the building to do an activity. It was bright and cheerful. The dining room was exquisite, and the food was out of this world. We enjoyed every minute that we were there. The people seemed comfortable. It was three stories, and I only saw one elevator.

Our brother is in Vista Del Rio. He is happy there and receiving good care. It is very reasonable. He is in the independent living, but they have an assisted living option if he needs it, a la carte. The place is very cheerful, nicely appointed, and very congenial. The staff is very friendly and caring. He is very happy with the food and enjoys socializing.

Vista del Rio is a family environment where everyone is just so kind and seems to care. The entire facility is clean. They have their own chef who provides three wonderful meals every day. They have housekeeping come once a week. There are a lot of mental and physical activities to keep my brother busy. He enjoys the good food and is keeping his room clean. All of his needs are being met.

Vista del Rio was a really nice place. The rooms are great. The staff was good. They answered a lot of our questions. The even called back and made follow-ups. We had a nice snack there with them. It was just all around good. The residents were very happy. The facility was just amazing. I would be happy if I could get her up there. They had a long list of activities. They had bean bag toss. They had a little snack area which was really cute.

Vista del Rio seemed smaller than the other property that we saw. It was clean, and the staff was very friendly. They have a lot of activities posted about what they did and everything. Actually, I did like that place. I just liked the staff a little more at the other place.

We went to Vista del Rio. It was very nice. I was impressed by the people there. Some were gathered doing crafts and different things, so it seemed like everybody was getting along very well and were very happy. The apartments were nice; they were not very large but were very clean and nice.

Economics played a factor why we chose Vista Del Rio -- proximity to my house, and they serve three meals a day. The rooms are very clean and appropriate for what we need. As far as the staff, they were very cooperative and helpful.

We toured Vista del Rio. It was an excellent experience from every step of the way. It was like being on a cruise ship. It had a homey feel to it. I thought the one-bedrooms were ample in size. We also looked at two different-sized studios, and I think both of them would have been fine.

My mother has been in Vista del Rio for five weeks now. They provide excellent meals. My husband and I actually eat there couple of times a week with my mom. The rooms are fairly large, and they have things going on every day. They have buses that take them places four or five days a week. The buses don't run on Friday and Saturday, but on Sunday, people go to various churches. Monday and Wednesday, they do grocery shopping. They go to restaurants once a week. They go to movies occasionally. Tuesday and Thursday are reserved for doctor's visit. It is a very clean facility. Her room is cleaned once a week, and if she needs, her laundry can be done as well, but I do her laundry. She is in the independent, but if she needs help, they can provide it for her.

The rooms were nice at Vista Del Rio. The whole place was very nice, but it was a little dark inside. The food was good. They had a balcony on the second floor. I went there twice. The first time I went, I saw a studio apartment. The second time I went, I saw a one-bedroom apartment. I liked them. They were a little on the small side, but they are still roomy enough for one person. The staff was great. They were very great and friendly. I even played the piano there for them, and they asked me to come back and do it again.

I chose Vista Del Rio because it was the closest one, and the staff was really caring; they made sure that we’re OK, and they helped us understand exactly what occurred. It had a homey feeling because they were really close to the patients, they would play games, and they made sure that they were happy. They would have beach potlucks and bingo, and we would have music to dance. The place is really clean.

Vista Del Rio's staff was very good, and they're very knowledgeable. They showed me all around. The rooms were nice, but it really wasn't what I wanted. They have swimming, exercises, cards, crafts, and they make cookies or cakes. I liked the fact that the residents and staff were friendly. And the food is good.
