Dad moved into Proveer at Heritage Woods. I like that. The semi-private rooms have their own bedrooms. It's not just one room. It's divided into two bedrooms with a common area. The staff is very attentive. I think it needs some upgrading. The furniture in the common area/in the memory care section needs to be replaced. They do have a courtyard and a hair salon.

I had an in-person tour of Proveer at Heritage Woods. It was a friendly environment. The residents seemed to be happy. The staff was nice and very helpful. There wasn't really anything I didn't like, except for the price. They have activities, beauty salons, and enough stuff to keep the residents active. The facility was very clean.

I went here and the memory care area was on the bottom floor which makes it easy to take care of them in case of emergencies so that they won't have to be so scattered trying to get the people to safety because they are right there. Easy in, easy out, but they are secure, and they are coded in and coded out so that they will be secure. My dad sometimes might wander off, which makes it a lot more comforting that he will be secure inside. There's a big, common area where he can do the crafts and watch TV, and the nurse is right there in that area just close to him. Some are shared rooms, and some are not. Some might want a companion there but they got their own bedrooms, with a common area, like a roommate kind of thing, and some have their own private area. They do have that choice. They're nice and clean, well taken care of. They were cleaning up in the dining area. It looks nice and clean and they had a couple of staff members, who were nice and friendly. They have a nice area. The setup is excellent for them. The dining area was a big, cleaner room for the residents, in and out, and a nice mingling area. It's like a little restaurant up in there.

I really liked it. It was clean and more like apartment living. It didn't have that nursing home feel. I liked the courtyard. The staff was very helpful. One of the things that drew me to this facility was they have a location outside the property where the smokers can hang out a little bit. (My mother smokes and there's no way of making her give it up.) The staff was really good and very personable. I really enjoyed talking with him, and it helped me because having to go through this is traumatic for me. They had studios, suites, one-bedrooms, and two-bedrooms. I would be more interested in the suite for my mother. They were really nice. They had an activity room and a cafeteria, and they can order food from a menu. They had activity calendars, and I think my mother would really enjoy that. They were the best.

It was great. The staff was a big help and they were able to answer all of my questions. There were two questions that they didn't know off the top of their head, but they got the answers right away. The facilities were fine. I didn't see anything that stood out as being a problem. They had a fully packed social calendar and that was impressive because that's one of my concerns.

They were very friendly and very nice. Everything looked clean and tidy. It is one of our choices. The staff members were very good and very informative. The rooms were nice and had three different good sizes. They had amenities, the building was very nice, and their courtyard was very beautiful.

My dad is a resident. He would rather be home, but it is not possible. Nevertheless, he likes it for the most part. They serve three meals a day. They also do laundry and help him take his medications.

I thought it was a nice place. I would recommend that place. I met with the staff, and I was impressed with that portion of it. I just know that I was impressed with the tour. I would say the rooms were a little larger. They were clean, and they were newly painted and carpeted.
