There are a few people at Mobile Nursing and Rehabilitation Center that are good. Most of them don't seem to care. It is very clean and they do their best, but it is old. So, things break and the call buttons don't work for a while. If they have activities, my husband is not participating in them. We're not aware of any. There was something posted when we first arrived but that ended and I haven't seen a new one. I think the food is good though. I've tasted a few bites of things and it's good. My husband's room is fine. It's a private room. Nothing fancy, but they keep it very clean.

Great facility, the care given to my mother was great. We were able to get a private room and the therapy she was given after her knee surgery was wonderful. The staff was very nice and the room was clean.

My MIL had to be transferred from assisted living to a nursing home because she was having multiple falls, was declining daily, and needed skilled nursing care, so we chose this place. We told them from the beginning that we had gotten a 30-day notice from the assisted living facility to complete the transfer. Dedra, the admissions director, was never in when we called and never returned even ONE of my more than a dozen phone calls. When I went to the facility in person, she was never there and her assistant, Paula, acted as if she was bored to tears by everything I said and could not have cared less about our problems. Finally, when we were on day 24 of our 30 days and Dedra still had not done the face-to-face interview with my MIL to determine if they could take her, we gave up and chose another nursing home. I've known people who had relatives at Mobile Nursing and Rehab who were very happy with the nursing care, but the administration and admissions personnel are terrible. They made an already painful and stressful time for us even worse.

I was extremely pleased with my choice of MNRC. I spent 16 days there rehabbing my total hip replacement, and instead of it being depressing, it was a very pleasant experience. It is very clean and smells good. The nursing staff is compassionate, efficient, and very friendly. The occupational and physical therapists are fantastic. They really love their jobs and it shows. I highly recommend MNRC for short-term rehab or long-term care.
