My mom has been there for 3 years. She has dementia and I visit her several times a week. Their facilities are always clean and they keep her busy in activities. I have absolutely no complaints.

Both of my parents have been in this facility for rehab after extended hospital stays. Both received excellent care and are doing great today. The facility was always clean and the patients well taken care of. During the seven weeks that my father was there, he was very confused and had his days and nights mixed up. Therefore, I would pop in at random times during the middle of the night to check on him and he was always clean and comfortable, as was his room. They even allowed me to bring his small dog up there to visit him a couple of times which cheered him up considerably. All of the staff was easily accessible and answered all of my questions that I would ask every day. I would recommend this facility to anyone who wants to make sure their loved one is well taken care of.

Staff is friendly, food was horrible, no real nutritional value to it at all. ( Condensed soup and canned pears for dinner), this is referred to as a "modified meal" because my father is a diabetic. A 30 to 45 minute wait for a nurse to get to his room, to help me get him into bed. We are looking for another place.

The Grand Bay nursing home was a very clean and up kept facility. It was well built and had many rooms to accommodate many patients and help make their stay comfortable. From what I saw, there were many activates that patients could participate in including aerobics, games, and other activities to liven up and brighten the atmosphere. My aunt who was there seemed very comfortable and at home and had no complaints what so ever. The nurse staff was polite and accommodating with great bed side manner and tended to every patients need and kept them well feed and comfortable. All in all, the nursing home would be a top on my list, even though it was only the second one I've visited. I'd highly recommended this to anyone who is in need or worries of not finding an appropriate place to keep their loved one safe and out of harms way.

This place is awful! They served my family member and room mate a biscut and bowl of canned fruit for supper. There are extension cords everywhere to trip over. The toilets overflow. It smells like BM and mold. I saw roaches and spiders. To top that off, the head nurse stands at the nurses desk and screams. The place needs to be torn down and the head nurse needs to retire.

The director of nursing obviously is hard to get along with. While I was visiting my father I witnessed her screaming at staff for 45 minutes.
