My mom has moved into Wills Creek Village. It's a smaller facility. So, it's a little bit more intimate and a little more personal, and it's convenient for me because it's close to where I live. And it's also close to the features and amenities of the town. There are some nice restaurants close by. Public transportation goes by there, which she doesn't need because she still owns a vehicle. So, she's able to take advantage of the assisted park. She can still live and have assistance. The staff, it's more than just a job to them. It's sort of like a calling. They care about people. They've got manicured grounds. A company comes in and takes care of it and everything. I get a schedule of activities as well as my mom. They have daily activities, and most of the time they have multiple in a day.

We have chosen Willscreek Village for my in-laws. The people there are extremely nice and seem to be extremely caring. The rooms are okay, but they could be bigger. They didn't have any of the biggest ones empty right now. For amenities, they have a dining room, a chapel, and an activity room and they got a big TV room up front if they want to just get together to watch TV. They have Spectrum Cable and Wi-Fi internet and all that sort. Everybody there has been very, very helpful with everything because they understand that Mom's got my mild dementia and yet they're still going to give her a chance to see if she can make it there without having to go to someplace where she is going to be by herself. She can stay with Dad there. They have been very helpful and very nice.

I moved into Wills Creek Village's assisted living. It's in my hometown, about eight miles from the house where I lived for a few years. It's a really nice place with good people. It's clean, neat, and hospitable. There's not a lot of amenities though. Just little things like bingo, but there's not really a whole lot of amenities. There's no pool and we don't travel. The room I'm in is very, very nice. The staff are outstanding, it could be a little better, but it's still really good. I think it's expensive for just assisted living, there's no pool, and we don't travel. They don't take us to casinos, and they don't plan trips for us. We just stay in our rooms and enjoy each other's company.
