Mom was in Westside Terrace Health & Rehabilitation Center. The nurses there were real nice. They showed me around a little bit and then said they didn't have a room, and I couldn't get my friend in there right then. You can get rehab there, too. The staff was wonderful. They'll come in and check on the patients and ask them if they need anything. If the plates don't feel warm when they go check it for their patient, they take it and heat it. The room was pretty big. My mother-in-law is in Westside Terrace Health & Rehabilitation Center. She hasn't been there long enough for us to get a good idea, but it seems nice so far. It's clean. The staff seems to be fairly up to everything. At first, we had a lot of problems there because she wants to walk and she's a fall risk, so they don't want her walking. I have a BIG problem with not being able to get someone to answer the phone 95% of the time! I need updates more often!!! I understand you guy's are busy but put yourself in my shoes,it's my mom the only one I have!!!! P lease consider more updates and more than that,someone to answer the phone!!! The facility is ultra clean and there is never a bad scent -- a great accomplishment I must say. The management and business staff and the receptionists are the nicest people you will ever meet. The rehab staff is super. The nursing staff, is, for the main part, very good, although there are a few nurses aides who seem to hate their jobs and are a bit grumpy, but there are not many of those. My mother was in Westside Terrace for rehab. It was fine. The room was adequate but small. It would not be suitable for living, but for rehab it was OK. It was very clean. The staff was good, and kept her busy. The food was hospital food but OK.

My father chose Westside Terrace for rehab. He was happy with the location. He is on a waiting list for a private room and I am not satisfied with the accommodations. They have a full scheduled activities, however they don’t have enough levels for the people with dementia. They don’t meet the requirements for the level my father is at this time. They should keep like conditions together and not mixed with the other levels. The staff is really good.
