I toured City Center Village. The thing I liked best about City Center Village was that the residents actually like living there. They voiced that to us when we were not in the presence of anybody that worked there. It was quite ensuring that Mom would be in good hands. They had a swimming pool. The recreation room was nice. They have an area outside with raised beds so they can do gardening, and flowers, and vegetable gardens. They had nice places to eat in the cafeterias. They had elevators ,that way they wouldn't have to use the stairs. That was some of the good amenities, as well as the location, close to shops. It was a really nice setting as well. Such a nice location. The staff was dealing with me. Some other people came up there needing some things taken care of and she was able to take care of that and still deal with us. They were very professional.

My brother-in-law is in City Center Village. They take care of whatever he needs. He likes it there. He's got his independence and he's got people there if he needs somebody. He seems to be doing better. I think the staff is perfect. When I've been over there, everybody is the friendliest people I've ever seen and helpful. He's got a small room, but that's all he wanted and it's fine. Everything's nice. He likes the food. The weekend is a little bit different than during the week. They're kind of shorthanded, especially on the weekends. The atmosphere is excellent. The place is nice. It's almost like being in a resort. I know they have activities every day. Value for money is good. We've looked at other places and for the money and everything, that's been the best one of all.

City Center Village has been wonderful. The place is very well-kept. It's beautiful. The courtyards are beautiful. They have a swimming pool. Everybody there has just been kind to my dad. They have gone above and beyond to help him get in there and get him situated. My dad also says the food is good.

This the first place I looked and found that the staff and faculty would have been idea for me but it was 30 - 45 minutes from my son that lives in Madison, Al. I did find a community that was only about 10 minutes from my son.

My experience in City Center Village, so far, has been really good. The food is good. I just finished eating. I like the layout. It's got a pool and a weight room and that's what made me finally decide on this one. I interacted with just about all of the staff members. Upkeep is good. It's nice. I'm getting housekeeping one day a week, other than that, I just keep it up. They offer three meals a day. It is good. All have a free meal. They offer trips. They have several courtyards, and they're nice. I like the courtyards. With my service dog, we can go out and not bother people.

The City Center Village had everything that interested me. They had a pool. They had a library where they had a computer set up for the residents to use. They had a gardening table, which is one of my big interests. The person doing the tour was very knowledgeable. The hospitality was better than the other place. I highly recommend them from my experience. He showed me a one-bedroom. They had a model that was furnished, and he told me I could bring my own furniture. It was beautiful. It had new couches, a big size refrigerator, a kitchen sink, and a big walk-in closet. It was out of my price range.

My tour experience at City Center Village was very good. The staff who showed me around, I believe her name was Nina, was very sweet; she was a very nice lady. I went to the common areas and the courtyards. The rooms were a little small, and there were no balconies. That would probably be a huge negative if we were still looking. The location was perfect for me because I live nearby, so that would have been great. They had a long-term facility there and they had a cafeteria. There was also a gathering area where they play cards, bingo, and stuff like that. So that was nice. There was a library, and the outdoor courtyard areas were very nice. I saw the dining area; it was very nice and it looked like a restaurant. The staff who gave me the tour was really sweet.

I had a very positive experience with City Center Village. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They told me a lot about their activities there, and they provided me helpful information about applying for VA benefits for my mom. That was all very good. I liked the facility. My only concern was that my mom walks with a walker and they had long hallways. Otherwise, I liked it. The courtyards were pretty and had flowers and raised garden beds, which is very nice for the residents. The rooms were spacious. They had a lot of activities for the residents and they provided transportation for shopping, events, and doctors' appointments. That's kind of restricted now with COVID, but they offer all of that.

I visited this place, and had lunch while touring. The food was very good and the dessert was homemade . The rooms are very nice and has lots of space. The calendar had a lot of nice activities and I liked that they had an outdoor pool, beauty salon, raised community garden, and a gym. The staff was great. I'm bringing mom down soon.

The staff and amenities are most pleasant. The entire building has space for residents to invite family for large functions or for a small private dinner. The chef and kitchen staff are most accommodating in preparing food that is healthy and seasoned to your taste. Breakfast served to your specifications and begins at 7:30 each morning.
