My mother is at Town Village Vestavia Hills. It is an independent living facility. They offer apartments essentially for senior individuals, and they provide three meals a day, lots of activities, and transportation to stores, medical appointments, and other events around Birmingham. They do a good job. They have a library area, a theater area, a craft room, and a main lobby outside the dining hall that's used for a lot of events on Thursdays and they have happy hour. They keep a book for people to sign up for various classes, events, or transportation. They have a dining facility that provides three meals a day during the week, and two meals on the weekend, but then they also have a bistro, a separate, small, dining area where they provide snacks, soup, and a sandwich. I've eaten there and the food was very good. I've met the administrator, Steve, and the front desk staff and maintenance staff. I've met them all.

Town Village Vestavia Hills was what my father liked best. It's a nice facility. We looked at a couple of units and both of them were nice and accommodating to what my dad needs. The manager that we worked with was very helpful in helping us understand the experience that my dad would go through there as well as the costs associated with it. There are quite a few amenities that I think my dad will enjoy there. I think he'll enjoy the indoor pool, the on-premise barbershop salon, the theater room, the exercise room, and the restaurant within Town Village. The dining area was nice. We had lunch there this past Saturday and it was well done. My dad enjoyed it as well. The facility was good, well-maintained, and well-decorated. It had a kind of a home feel, not like as if you were in some kind of a nursing facility. It was almost like you were in either an apartment complex or a nice hotel.

My parents are moving into Town Village Vestavia Hills. Overall their management we liked. And also there's a lot of opportunity for them to have activities. They had a choice of good meals. We heard good things about the food. And it's close to me. Very clean and upgraded apartments, like fresh carpet, and fresh paint. And it's two-bedroom, two-bath, and kitchen. So it has a lot of facilities.

Town Village Vestavia Hills was very nice; it was beautiful. The only objection I had to that place was that it had no patio or balconies; that was why I wouldn't have chosen that one. The rooms were very nice. The staff was very informative. She showed us around the amenities. I saw a library and the dining room. They had a pool, and I saw the rooms.

I liked everything about Town Village Vestavia Hills. The room was a little bit smaller, but it would have been doable. It had wonderful amenities, more than we would probably use. They have a swimming pool, craft rooms, and exercise rooms. The price was also good, but they just didn't have a balcony or a patio. They had scenic places outside but it's inconvenient to just walk outside your door. The facility is only independent-living, but they did say that we could age and place and that we could stay in the apartment even though it was independent-living, and that was a big plus for us.

I moved to Town Village one day before the shutdown for Covid-19 began. Even with these restrictions, I am extremely pleased with my choice. The rooms are beautiful and you feel like you are moving into a new apartment. The grounds are lovely and are always replanted with seasonal flowers. There is a quiet paved walkway behind our building beside a stream which makes for a pleasant walk even with my walker. I enjoy participating in the many activities that include Bingo, hymn singing, crafts painting, cards, Bible study and many more. I have enjoyed just getting acquainted with lovely residents from many different backgrounds. Residents are very friendly , caring, and help each other. The staff are well trained in their positions and show concern and respect to all. I feel that all the residents and staff are part of my extended family.

Town Village Vestavia Hills was very, very nice. I would've considered that if it was cheaper than the other place. The building and the rooms were very lovely and decorated. It's just that it was only independent living, and if you needed additional help, you would have to get home health care. It's a very, very nice area, and the staff was helpful, informative, and very welcoming. The rooms were really nice and tastefully done. Everything was clean, warm and inviting. The dining area was very nice as well.

We like Town Village Vestavia Hills. We like the facility itself and what they offered was very good. While we had issues with pricing because our money was limited, we thought the facility itself was very nice. It was very clean and well kept, very modern and up-to-date, and those were some good features. They had a more home-like atmosphere, which I thought was great. We didn't eat lunch because when we went out there, it was unexpected. We just showed up. The physical appearance was very good.

I moved into Town Village Vestavia Hills. It's very pleasant, very peaceful, and I'm glad I'm here. The staff is very open to my requests, and very pleasant to deal with. The food is above average, it's not exotic, but it's normal for senior living; it's institution food. We have people that come in, and trips to go to. I was entranced by the indoor people.

We went to Town Village Vestavia Hills. It was very well managed and very well staffed, friendly, and the size was in range for what was offered. There was an indoor pool and the food was good. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They have a bistro as well as an area for fine dining. It has clean, well-maintained grounds.

Town Village Vestavia Hills is the only one I found that has a hot water swimming pool indoors. I have arthritis, so I have to have hot water. The staff is very friendly and informative. The grounds are very nice, clean, and very finished. The location is very convenient. They have chair exercises, Bingo, movies, any card game you want to play, a TV room where you can watch whatever you want to, special programs on holidays, a grill so you can get anything you want to eat at any time of the day, and a place like a restaurant where you can order whatever you want off a menu. The apartment rooms are larger than some of the other ones. The food was excellent. The place was very clean and there wasn't a piece of paper on the floor. Everything was just spotless.

We liked everything about Town Village Vestavia Hills except that they have individual storage. The hallway on the way there were filthy and they need to do something about that. My friend who lives there though likes it very much. They have an indoor pool which I love, an exercise room, and I like the way they do their eating schedule. Their price is a little bit less than others and it's more reasonable.

Town Village is very nice, they had so many activities, and people were out doing things. They were a lot of people playing Bridge, working on jigsaw puzzles, and playing ping-pong. It was a really active community. I looked at several rooms, they were lovely. They have a separate little kitchen with a dishwasher, refrigerator, icemaker, and washer and dryer in each room. They do the sheets, but do your own laundry for your personal stuff. The staff was great. This is where I want to go.

I think the facility itself is very nice. The residents are so welcoming as well. As for the staff, the sales group is very welcoming but the actual staff at the front desk and in the dining hall are not welcoming at all. The maintenance team are great. If they could focus on providing excellent service at all touch points it would be so much better.

We liked Town Village. The staff was excellent and continued to follow up with us. They invited my father-in-law to go back for any activity that he would want to be a part of, and they had a lot of activities; they sent us a calendar. It was very clean. We had an outstanding lunch.

Town Village was much more like family. It had more of a family atmosphere. I actually liked it better than the others because it was closer to town. It was smaller, and it seemed nicer. It was less expensive, but it was as adequate as the others. In that one, you could have your meal in your room if you wished, which was nice. They had a pool inside.

Town Village Vestavia Hills was wonderful and clean. The staff was very congenial. The people that I encountered were very nice. It wasn’t what my in-laws decided on because they didn’t have the next level of care they need. If you were to go from independent living, you would have to move to another facility to assisted living. For independent living, it was superior.

I used to live in Town Village (Town Village Vestavia Hills), which was a wonderful place, but I have a beloved German shepherd dog, and they didn’t want me to have my dog there. That’s one of the reasons I left. The best part was that it was walking distance to a lot of wonderful restaurants. You don’t have to be able to drive a car; you could just walk places.

My mother is in Town Village in Vestavia and she's been there for about a month now. It's wonderful. There's so much to do; they've got their own theater, they've got a pool, there's so many different sitting areas, they've got buses that take them all over the place. I'd move here, in fact I am here everyday. The facility is beautiful. There's a lot to do. The rooms and apartments are very nice. It's one bed-room apartment which is plenty for my mom and I believe some of the apartments are bigger in here because I've been in some different ones and so they're all different sizes and I know there are even 2-bedroom apartments here. They've got different sizes for whatever your needs may be. They've got it pretty much down.

Mom just moved to Town Village last month. The rooms are big enough to accommodate her. There's a swimming pool, so they can do water aerobics And there's also a library. She likes the food. The workers are good. They provided everything we needed.

My mom has lived here for several months and she has come to absolutely love it. We have met some of the best people ever among the many residents and I can't say enough about the staff. I would highly recommend town village in vestavia.

I liked Town Village but it was three stories, and the rooms they had would have make mom and step dad walk a long way to make them an active part of the community for meals and everything. Also, they did not have any room available at that time. It was nice, clean, and the people seemed professional. They had a pool and an exercise room.

We thought Town Village was very nice. It did have assisted living, and it also had nursing care and different levels. It was probably my mother’s second choice. It was a little bit less expensive. Very nice facilities. It was important for her to have a nice dining facility because she does cook, and she was very pleased with that. We did try the food, and she was very pleased with that, too. One of the issues is they do not have any Alzheimer's care. My mother is completely fine; my stepfather is in early or middle stages of Alzheimer's so she was scared if she moved there that they would have to move again if he got worse or he would have to move somewhere else. She did like the facility. It wasn’t quite as grand or as fancy, but it was very nice. It was well kept and not rundown at all. You could just tell it was a quality place.

Town Village Vestavia Hills was an excellent facility. They were set up like a little town. They had a swimming pool, little stores and an exercise place. You have everything there that you could need. They also had a bus that could take you places and they probably had the best activities. The places were quite lovely and the prices were good too. It was multi-story and it was not a good set-up for my sister at this time.

I went to Town Village Vestavia Hills for a visit. I was impressed by the facility but the rate was a little above what I could afford. And the rate included everything even if I won't be able to use it.
