Skyline has been an ideal residential choice for my sister. The staff has been exceptional, kind, professional, understanding and caring. They have successfully fostered a strong community of friendly and welcoming individuals. Skyline’s amenities are excellent, and the facility is kept in top condition. Beyond that, their food service is outstanding, and the views of Birminghan from Skyline’s mountaintop location couldn’t be better. We have been very satisfied by a residential solution that has far exceeded our expectations.

I toured Skyline Village at Red Mountain. They're all-inclusive. The layout of the apartment was very nice and perfect for one person. They have an outside deck. They have a dining room. They have a common room where you can do arts and crafts, read, or play cards. The food was very good. Beverly was wonderful.

Skyline Village at Red Mountain was very nice. The host was very accommodating. The residents I met there were very friendly. It's a beautiful place. The apartments were nice. It was a good tour. They had beautiful views of the city of Birmingham. It was very nice and very well-kept. They had studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments. They were very large. With regard to activities, there wasn't anything going on. But I went into the exercise room, and it was nice. The dining room looked nice. The people were in there eating lunch.

Skyline Village at Red Mountain was the one I was leaning toward because of my expenses. It was very nice. It was great. The staff was great in everything that she did. She was very cordial. She did her job. She was very well trained. They showed me a room and it was everything I needed. I'm handicapped to the extent that I use walkers and a motorized scooter to get around. It had a nice walk-in shower and a little kitchenette. There's no bedroom, it's just all one room. Everything is in one room. It was big enough. I don't have a bed, don't sleep in a bed, and I can't lay down flat because I can't breathe when I'm laying down flat or on my side, so I sleep in a chair that's partially raised so I can breathe. So It was plenty big enough for that. I could have a beautiful view. Everything was nice. This is the one I wanted.

Skyline Village has been amazing for my mother and our family. She loves her friends that she has made and always has pleasant things to say about the staff. She is able to get out to do her shopping and out to eat once a week. She loves it and so do we. Thank you to Skyline Village for everything you do for us.

I have lived at Skyline Village for around 2 years. They have had their challenges but everything is so much better. It is cleaner, we have alot more activities and outings and the staff is so much more friendly. I love going to eat and shopping every week. The kitchen staff takes our suggestions and uses our recipes. I have found my forever home.

My Godmother moved to Skyline Village after a medical procedure. She originally wanted to move back home after she healed. She has made such amazing friends with her craft group that she has decided to make Skyline her final home. We couldn't be more pleased with the staff, the food and the atmoshphere.

We recently moved my father into Skyline Village. He loves his new friends and his view. He says that he lives in a hotel in the sky. Overall I am pleased with our deciding on Skyline Village.

BEDBUGS! They will not tell you. We found out after the fact and had to leave all belongings there after mother was getting bit nightly. I counted 30+ bites in her after I removed her. We’ve spent thousands replacing furniture and clothes and getting mother set up in another facility. It’s not the same place as it was years ago when another relative was there. It’s a nasty place. I have pictures.

I just moved here to Skyline Village at Red Mountain yesterday. I love its location. It is not that far from downtown Birmingham and I'm close to the hospital and my family. The layout is great and everyone's friendly and helpful. There are lots of activities for the residents. They've got bingo and everything that you can imagine. The first meal I had was very good, too. The facility is very clean and very well-kept. Also, the price is very affordable.

The first time I ever drove over to Skyline Village at Red Mountain to look at it, I thought I'd always wanted to live in a castle. When you go in there, the people are so nice, both the ones that live there and the ones that run it. Miss Beverly took me around and showed me apartments and studios. They have three meals a day. They have patios and you can go out there. They have comfortable chairs to sit on while looking over at the lights of Birmingham. It's very clean and nothing really fancy. This is really a nice and clean place, and they make you feel at home. When you have a doctor's appointment they take you to the doctor. If you want to go to the grocery store to get some snacks or something, they do that. It's independent living, so if you have your car, you can go wherever you want to. When you leave, you have to tell them so they'll know you're not in there. The staff who gave me the tour was wonderful. She showed me the library and even showed me the place where, because they were having a tornado a couple of weeks ago, they all gathered to watch the news and the weather. It's comfortable and they have some books up there too. I only met a couple of the staff because when she sent me down to the lunchroom, they were in the middle of lunch and I sure didn't want to interrupt it. Everybody that I passed was all nice and spoke to me. I went into some apartments and they were clean, they were empty, and being repaired.

I visited Skyline Village at Red Mountain. I liked that it's a newer facility and the fact that the rooms are larger. It has a beautiful view. The staffs seem to be very friendly and caring. I think this place would have been more suitable for my relative's needs, but still looking at other facilities. The staff that gave me the tour was very friendly, very informative, very helpful. and a very pleasant person. At the time we arrived, breakfast was already over and it was too early for lunch, but the staff asked or recommended that we come for a meal. They have a beautiful courtyard area where you can see the view of Vista View of Birmingham.

I'm moving into the Skyline Village at Red Mountain next week. It was a decent place, clean, looked well run and it was something I could afford. It's more out of the way, less traffic, not as crowded, that type of thing. The staff was great, everybody was friendly, they spoke to you, and they just seemed to interact with the residents well. The salon was big for me because I have limited use of one arm. They have a gym and there is physical therapy. It was spotless, the whole place, in the room outside, in the public places was all great, even outdoors. It's in the heart of a little town, but it's close to everything, all stores and whatnot that you want, plus it's close to where I work.

Skyline Village at Red Mountain only had two-bedrooms but I was looking for a three-bedroom apartment. It didn't meet my needs. I also didn't like the view from the windows. The person who toured me was very kind and friendly. There was a room where they do recreation exercises, a dining area downstairs, a living room where everybody could gather, and a beauty salon.

We went to Skyline Village yesterday for my mom. It was a good visit. They showed us three different rooms; the 1st one was a studio, the 2nd one was a 1-bedroom and the 3rd one was just a larger 1-bedroom. They had a refrigerator and a place for a microwave. It was just a kitchenette, but they serve three meals a day there. The staff was very courteous, answered all our questions and made themselves available if we thought of any questions later. It was great. Everything about it was good.

I saw Skyline Village at Red Mountain. You get a view of the mountain and it looked like a hotel, but I don't like it. The staff was very good, but it wasn't as clean as it should be because I saw a cockroach there. The only thing that impressed me was the view over the city and that was about it. The outside part was OK, but it didn't have an appeal to it. It felt like an institution.

I like Skyline Village at Red Mountain. I like the location and the fact that it has a beautiful view. The price is less than others. I like the dining facility. I visited a friend that lives there. Her room was a little bit small. There were some larger rooms that were available. The staff was very nice. Everyone that I spoke with was very nice. The food was very good. They had activities available. They had TV areas, they had reading materials available, and they had an exercise room. The living atmosphere seemed to be pleasant. The people that spoke with told me they like it there. The place was beautiful, but parking was a problem.

Skyline Village was a God-send for my family. It is a beautiful independent living facility with services that overlooks the city of Birmingham. It is a close community where the residents care about one another and they are happy and feel safe. The staff works tirelessly to keep the facility clean, fun and like family. It is reasonably priced with great amenities! The rooms are very nice and clean. The facility isMy sister is very happy here and I am so thankful that she is there!

Skyline Village at Red Mountain is beautiful; if you're an artsy person this would be the perfect place. The view is absolutely amazing. The rooms were quite small, but they were updated and nice. I got to meet the activities director and I saw the residents making something. They have exercise classes and I also met the exercise person. I saw the menu and the food. I walked around outside and saw a lot of different rooms. They spent a lot of time with me; they were very nice. I saw people doing laundry in the washer and dryers, I met the cleaning people, and some of the kitchen staff. They were having a hotdog cookout on the day of my tour. I also met the person in charge of that. I think I met everybody there and the residents seemed very happy. There's a huge outback that's almost like a garden. You can see for a hundred miles; it's amazing.

Skyline Village was absolutely gorgeous and I would love to live there. It was on the top of the mountains, so you could see so much of Birmingham. It was brand new, and we had a choice of any room we wanted. They already have a waiting list, so that's how nice it is. The dining room is in the front and overlooks a beautiful view. The rooms were spacious with a very nice storage room and living room. If you wanted two bedrooms, they were on each side of the living room. It was fantastic. The parking could be a problem, though, because it was on a hill. You would have to go up some steps, but they said there was going to be a doorman who could drive your car, so you could just drive up the front.
