Our current caregiver has an outstanding personality and work ethic, and that's why it has been a positive experience. I would like to see more skilled backup caregivers. It takes so long to explain all of our needs before the substitute caregivers can really get started. They could keep notes on what each client needs, so the substitute caregivers can just step in.

I like that they go above and beyond what you would normally expect. They find out what he wants to do and encourage him to do what he should be doing with good care and good to see him laughing. It is hard getting different ones, and I like older ones better. Right now, I am in the hospital. I feel I have gotten worse. I have been with them for a while. Minnie helps with cleaning. I do need more medical. I don't feel I am getting quite the medical. Not getting the social worker is where I have problems.

I am a client of SYNERGY HomeCare of Waupaca. Overall, it is good and bad. The Veterans pay for the gentleman that I have come in. They are double charging because the Veterans are paying for it. They told me they get $30 an hour, and Jerry is here for 3 hours; however, they charge the Veterans for six. I don't think that's right. He sits here and watches television with him to make sure he doesn't fall. I'm only gone for 3 hours, and I come right back. My husband's able to pretty much get around on his own and do his own thing. I just don't want him to fall or walk away because he does have dementia. Jerry is awesome. We love him to pieces. He has became one of the family already. He really does a wonderful job. Too bad they don't have more men because that is perfect for my husband. The scheduling is worked out, but the billing is all screwed up. I think they are ripping the Veterans off, and I don't like that part. If you worked for 3 hours, why should you get paid for six. They said, "Well, the Veterans must think your husband is worth it."

My life is much easier. For the last five years, I have gotten up every morning, given my husband a sponge bath, and have taken him to work. I would take him to work, and my children all work, so it was hard for them to help. I like to sleep in a little bit, and I have been able to do that since getting SYNERGY HomeCare. The caregiver just sees what needs to be done, does it and goes and gets breakfast for us. They are conscientious and don't come in and take control of my life. They help to take care of myself and are very agreeable.

There were some issues with not having the staff there during the scheduled visits. They have helped her the most by providing daily support. I like that they are flexible and work well with my loved one.

The first time the caregiver was there, she didn't do anything, but the second time was much better. The caregivers could stay off their cell phones.

They will do some cleaning, cooking, and the dishes. I had some problems with them at first, but now I have two caregivers that are really good that do what they are asked and don't whine.

They are willing to schedule what I need them for. They should only send the girls that I want, and not the ones that I don't like. They are willing to work with me. They accommodate my needs with scheduling. A few of the girls are all drama, though.

They were called, and they got someone very quickly for me. The gal they sent was capable and kind. She was there during my post surgery and helped with medications, meals, and cleaning.

I don't really have an problem with the people who have been visiting. The idea was that the visits would be occupying her and taking care of her needs to give me respite, but it hasn't turned out that way. The services aren't being used the way we had originally intended. My wife doesn't want the personal care, so the caregiver has mostly helped around the house. I haven't had the respite I was looking for. The caregiver has been helpful around the house, but since my wife refuses to accept the personal care, I haven't been able to get the respite.

The majority of care that was given and the caregivers were very caring. They seemed to enjoy working with the elderly. The peace of mind that came with the services made life easier. I knew my loved one was being checked on.

SYNERGY has fun caregivers who try to do what you tell them to do. I have pulmonary problems and the caregiver helps me out sometimes with that along with my husband's care.

SYNERGY HomeCare are the most caring and kind people I have ever dealt with in my life. They changed the quality of my mother-in-law's life. The communication from SYNERGY HomeCare was fantastic and very detailed. Once we lost my mother-in-law, the owner and the caregiver came to her funeral. They were made to do this job.

I think very highly of SYNERGY HomeCare because they are the best company in the area. I think they really care about their clients. The owner has said that if she wouldn't send a caregiver to her parents, she won't send them to anyone else. One of the caregivers was able to get my wife to respond to treatment and do exercises to preserve her range of motion. The caregiver was able to make the last months of my wife's life significantly better.

SYNERGY HomeCare has been very accommodating. It's nice that it's an in-home care system, and they match clients to their caregivers based on personalities. The staff at SYNERGY HomeCare has a lot of flexibility with the people who provide the service. I wouldn't let them take care of my grandmother if I didn't think they were a great company.

SYNERGY HomeCare comes in and maintains Joyce's home. Joyce loves her caregiver and looks forward for her coming. Joyce was worried that on hospice she wouldn't have someone come in take care of her home but SYNERGY HomeCare assured there would be. Joyce feels better because everything is put in it's place. She really likes the caregiver and the quality of the caregiver makes her feel better because things are being done. It's important to her to have a clean home.
