I am a current client of this provider

I've got nothing but good things to say about A Special Touch In-Home Care. My caregiver is here every day. I have kidney dialysis three times a week and she helps me. She meets me at the bus to get me into the building. When I have dialysis, she's with me till 5:30. She makes my life 100% easier. I'm blind. I have trouble finding things and she's always there. Usually, she's found it before I even know that I need it. They know what I need. She makes sure everything is clean because being blind, I can be very, very messy. They're trying to get me a walker so that I don't run over anybody. I love them. If I need anything, all I've got to do is get on the phone and they're right there. I've even had the owner come to the apartment and check on me. I know that if I need something, I can call them in. The caregiver has everything laid out. Everything's ready for me. I just put the breakfast in the microwave and I'm ready to go. They call me at least once a month to check on me. I have a caseworker and they check on me and see if I need anything, if I need any medical, they can get in touch with the pharmacy. They're always checking on me asking if I need anything or if anything has changed. They do real good.

Excellent service, no worries at anytime if employees were not going to show up. Cathy and the other caregivers were truly a blessing to my mother and myself.

About A Special Touch In-Home Care in South Charleston, West Virginia

Quality Care in the Comfort of Your Home

When a loved one is disabled or elderly, it can be challenging to provide quality care daily, especially without living in the home with the individual. The dedication that it takes to care for these disabled or aging loved ones does not go unnoticed. A Special Touch In-Home Care is a privately-held, non-medical West Virginia healthcare agency that understands the crucial planning that takes place daily and wants to allow your loved one to stay in their home for as long as possible. We know how much you love and enjoy the best for them by providing care in the comfort of their home; let us help you keep that promise by treating your loved ones like our own and giving them the companionship and care that you always give to them.

Not all services are an ideal fit for every patient. We ensure to take the time to listen to the challenges that each patient may be having and tailor our programs based on their needs.

    Services

Staying in the comfort of your home may be more possible than you think with the help of our caring staff at A Special Touch In-home Care. Let us help you overcome the obstacles you face, making your home life more relaxed and enjoyable. We can arrange for medical and non-medical visits from nurses, social workers, and home health aides.

Our experience has shown that one solution is not a good fit for every person. We will take the time to listen to your challenges and learn about your needs in order to tailor a program specifically for you. Our goal is to help you achieve the best quality of life possible, while maximizing your independence and dignity.

    What Makes Us Different

We believe that quality care begins with compassionate care. If your loved one does not need to move into an assisted living facility, nursing home, or in need of hospice care, in-home care may be the best option.

Determining whether to hire in-home care for your loved one can be a difficult decision. With time, many people face mental or physical challenges that can interfere with a normal, independent lifestyle, including subtle behavior changes. These characteristics could include a decline in personal hygiene, wearing the same clothing multiple days in a row, a living space that has become extremely cluttered, unsanitary living conditions, a lack of fresh food, weight loss, not taking medications, or unexplained bruising due to mobility issues. This is where our caregivers come in.
