I am a current client of this provider

The nurse from Summit Home Health told my husband and I that she would be coming to our home on the Monday after I was released from the hospital, following a total knee replacement. When she didn't show up and I had clear signs of infection, I called Summit. She came to check my knee, but acted put out the entire time that she was here. She said, my elevated fever, redness, warmth and the unbearable burning was all "nothing but normal brusing". My husband got me into the doctor and I had a very serious infection. Weeks past and I never once heard from the nurse again. Not even a phone call to check on me. My doctor's office is disgusted that Summit didn't provide me with supplies to change the dressing on my knee while my incision was draining. I have dealt with numerous home health care agencies over the years with both my elderly parents and in-laws, as well as several past surgeries that I have had. I have never had as poor of care as what I received from Summit. They are a disgrace!

Summit was great. Chantelle RN was very helpful and so were the CNAs. We could not have helped Mom if it had not been for Summit. Thanks to all.

Summit is taking care of my mom. Our family physician recommended this hospice to us. He's also overseeing mom's care once a week. There's a nurse and 2 nursing aides that are checking on her 2 times a week. They help her get dressed, check her blood pressure and oxygen levels, feed her, help her take a shower. They're very conscientious. They call me over everything. They really, really care.
