I was really happy with the person that I had. She did everything for me, like helping me shower, doing my laundry, changing my sheets, dusting, doing the floors, and lots of housework. She ran errands for me and took me to the doctor and she would go grocery shopping for me. I wish they wouldn't call my caregiver who was with me when she was with me because it takes my time with her away. It's supposed to be my time and my time is taken away when she's on the phone with them.

They have been lifesavers for me. I am the daughter living 2 hrs away. Eases my concerns knowing my parents are being looked after. I salute the caregivers - it has been a work in progress due to my parents being stubborn & having picky ways, not wanting to lose control @ 86. My parents want to live at home; until it’s not safe. I only had issue with one employee at the start. She was replaced. We started 2 days a week in March; then in May went to 4 days, 4/5 hrs. They make my mom happy, smile, laugh. She tells stories, starting to make some of her favorite recipes, playing dominoes, taking them to dct appts, beauty shop, decluttering some, helping with the laundry. Do dishes, sweep, etc. Remind pill time, drink water. This has taken such a burden off my dad. Caregivers are reliable, great companionship. Mom has start of Alzheimer’s & TAA since April. For months mom & dad has had Diane & Melinda doing an outanding job equally. My parents like them. That is a big plus. I feel like they are family. When Diane left a month ago for her own family, they cried. She has since dropped by to say Hi to my parents. Melinda is a dear, helps in so many ways. Fixed mom’s hair, & helps my dad’s disposition by laughing, kidding, joking. Oh so much more I could say. They make my love one’s life easier & they notify me if their is an issue. It's important because I have dressings that need to be changed for ulcers on my legs. If I don't keep the dressing changed, they could get infected and that would be bad news. The only thing that I have trouble with is when I have to reschedule appointments. That has been tough to get worked out, because it appears that once they work out their schedule, they don't have a lot of flexibility to do things like reworking a schedule. I'm satisfied with everything else.
