One time I had a doctor appointment, and they were able to have someone come over at 6:30. I used them twice and they were both promptly on time. After the visits when I asked my wife, she said they were very good.

I like the caregivers from Right at Home Galveston, but they have a little trouble getting coverage in my area. If someone gets sick or has a problem, they have trouble getting someone to cover their spot. Other than that, I don't have a problem with them. The ladies that come in and help me with my wife are willing and able. One works five days a week and she has learned where everything is in the house and she does a pretty good job. The other two work on the weekends, and they have done a good job. They bathe my wife, and change her since she's in diapers and has dementia. They're pleasant to work with and we get along with them very well. They just don't have enough people in their area to call when a vacancy comes up unexpectedly, but it's not their fault, and that's the only drawback about them. Some were not showing up and I would not find out until an hour after they were supposed to be here.

If we didn't have that one person involved, it would be good. She told me I didn't know what I was talking about in my own house. Without her, they would be better. There was one girl that we didn't like, but the rest have been good. It can be a little expensive though.

I don't really need much care. I get helped with things like changing my diaper. They have taken care of everything I have needed.

They should show up on time and do what they say they will do. The first two people that came here didn't do anything but sit on the couch and look at their cell phone. The second lady did the laundry and did what he asked.

It created a real problem. I had to switch my schedule around. When people showed up, they were okay after I provided them with a booklet of where to find things. They need to have employees that know how to show up on time. They don't have enough people to help. They also don't explain that split shifts cost more.

It was very helpful when we were out of town to know someone would be reliable to be here. It gave me assurance that I could be gone. They were consistent and the people showed up when they were supposed to, and I didn't have any issues. It was excellent care and my mom loved the lady that came out.

They helped us the most by doing all the work that I needed. I didn't want to do what they were doing but they did it. I didn't have any problems with them. They were very cooperative and they were here on time all the time. When we asked for help we would get it. Even the nurses would come if we needed help.
