Mandy came to my residence today to place a pic line in for my mom. She was both professional and compassionate. She taught me how to administer the antibiotic IV and was very patient with me and made sure that I knew exactly what to do! My hope is that you would not need these services for one of your loved ones; however, if you do I would highly recommend Bright Star and Mandy!

I love my nurse from BrightStar. She is so amazing! She does amazing wound care for me. She’s kind, courteous, professional, knowledgeable, punctual, and always answers my questions. Mrs. Edwards is the absolute best. I couldn’t ask for better care for myself. I definitely recommend BrightStar for your needs. They are like family who cares for you. What a blessing!

Bright star was chosen for me by the hospital. I have a wound on the side of my foot that made me have a wound vac on. I had no idea what was going to happen but when Haley came by the first time she made me feel relaxed and I looked forward to seeing her every week. She has a way to make you smile and is very encouraging. Keep up the good work bright star by hiring the best nurses!

They are dedicated to the company and the clients. They provided day to day care. They assisted with the hospice and around the clock care.

It seems that every time I call the nursing director, they never get back to me and there seem to be some issues with the billing that they can't explain. They show up and change his wound care dressings, but they're not doing that anymore because we ran into a problem with the intern.

I like how they are a friendly and professional company to work with. The employees are excellent. They made it easy for me because I don't know how to change my bandages.

We have one caregiver that is just awesome because she communicates really well. The older one doesn't text like that caregiver does, but that is just fine. It is very comforting to get daily feedback on how my dad is doing. I am not able to bet here every day, so having the caregiver communicate with me is very good. My dad has a routine going, and since he is not able to remember on his own the caregiver helps him. The caregiver takes care of his necessities.

The therapist came every day that she was scheduled to come. She treated him with the utmost respect. They did their job with him and I kind of stayed on the other side of the house.

I like that the caregiver comes, but she needs to work on being punctual. The services are good for my loved one, but for me it has not had much of an impact. I still do the same amount of work and I still have to help my loved one much of the time, even with the caregiver coming in.

I like how responsive this company is with me. I contacted them last minute, and they made it work. They put in extra effort to help me find caregivers. The services allow me to do the things that I could not do. The caregivers take me where I need to go, and they help keep my house clean.

When we sat down and talked to them originally, the things we were told were to happen simply did not happen, and we were very specific with what we need and what our concerns were, and we were reassured that those things would happen. It wasn't explained it us about cancelling services and I had to cancel one day because of a doctor's appointment because it came up, and they gave us a charge because you need to cancel 48 hours in advance and I wasn't informed of that in the beginning.

They were efficient, they were caring, and they went over and above what they needed to do help me. They sent to me a caregiver that was wonderful and that knew what she was doing. I have no complaints. They gave my husband enormous amounts of relief from having to do everything for me while I was down.

BrightStar Care could put the patient first as opposed to the scheduler. They could not send people out without being asked. They could understand the pathophysiology of stroke and neuromuscular disease. They could have the same caregiver. When someone has a stroke and can't remember people, a care agency shouldn't send different caregivers based on the schedule. BrightStar Care should have an owner who does not yell at her clients. After the third visit, they started wasting my money. One of the care workers challenged me about my diagnosis. They were so into their schedules that they couldn't get into mine. On the positive note, Melissa the RN was incredible. They inconvenienced me. They didn't understand strokes. The owner even once called my sister when she asked for help and she said she was just a sick person.

The services from BrightStar Care were excellent. They are very professional and they are just excellent. I am going to use them again when I need them. I had fallen and hurt my hand, so I couldn't do anything and needed someone to take me to the doctor, do errands, and cook for me. The thing that I appreciated most was that they were here all of the time.

BrightStar Care has been reliable. I am friends with the owner and she's been great. They were really helpful at the beginning when I didn't know the ropes of home health care. They gave me their personal cell phone numbers and sent me texts. BrightStar Care cares for my elderly parents and I am their only child. I work and have my own child. It's really been helpful to have BrightStar Care staff in the house to take care of light house keeping, make lunch, and be there in case they fall and to help my dad. Otherwise it's all on me.

BrightStar Care has sent me qualified nurses for infusions. My nurse only has to stick me one time. The previous nurses had to stick me multiple times.
