Do not believe anything this agency tells you. They do not provide the services they agree to. My rehab hospital recommended them. They came to evaluate . That went well. They promised someone would call to arrange for physical therapy. No one called. I called them. It took 3 calls to them and a call to the rehab hospital to get a call back. A therapist came for several visits and then never called or showed up again. I called a contact person whose name I was given. She checked and told me the authorization was only for 5 visits and they were checking with my insurance for more. No call back after that. I checked the written authorization my insurance sent me. It was for 8 visits. So today I cancelled using them. No one should have to make as many phone calls and get no answers just to get needed services. My advice is do not believe what they tell you and find another company who is reliable.

The OT is excellent; PT good. On the other hand, little or no warning about appointments. However, their customer service is deplorable. Every time I call concerning 2 appeals that I have won, they either claim complete ignorance. They never answer my questions and contradict themselves almost without exception. The agency puts you, the client, responsible for all research and phone calling. I am now searching for another provider.

I have witness the seldom visits of the nurse for my love one. The nurse will call/text when she is about 15 to 30 minutes away. The patient has other doctor appointments and therapy and with no regular schedule, we have no ideal when she is coming. Its been 4-5 weeks in between her visits. I call the main office, the reception is very nice and understanding but when the call is transferred, you have to leave a message. Again this is FRUSTRATING.

My wife is a patient. We have used HCP in the past and it is never our first choice. The main reason is that the nurses never call or text the day before or the morning of an appointment to give us a time window. The other agency we prefer does not always have a slot available for us so we have to use HCP. The other agency always have the nurse text a window of 1-2 hours for expected arrival and if they are going to be late, send an update. Because of my wife's condition, she has to schedule sleep around appointments so it is important to have a time window of at least morning or afternoon.

They provide me with 2 different nurses to check on me, I also have an aide who comes to help me bathe, so I do not worry about falling in the tub. My nurses are very good to me, they call the Dr if I need him and have worked diligently on a wound that developed after a surgery. I have requested and been given a therapist as well, he is working with me to help me get by balance and start walking on my own. I am very happy with everyone

I received both nursing and physical therapy from this company, I loved my nurse Angela. She was always on time and bright and pleasant, she was also good to answer general questions about my health, my physical therapists were exceptional, I recovered from a total knee replacement. I was very pleased with there services, prompt, clean and professional.

My father had the misfortune of being referred to this home health care company by a hospital in Dallas where he was at due to diabetes complications. The nurse called and told my father she would be out the day after he left the hospital and told him if he had any family member close, they should be at his home when she arrived. She never came and never called him. What was worse, I took the day off work to be at his house as she suggested. He ended up going back to the emergency room and was hospitalized for 4 days with the same diabetes complications. The case coordinator at the hospital gave us the name of another home health care company and we have so far been very pleased with the nurse they sent. I will be writing a review on that company on this site too.
