The first day when I had the surgery, the owner's husband provided a portable wheelchair. When I got back home, him and the aide, Cassandra, got me up the outside steps and right into my house. I was treated really nicely and I appreciate it. I was treated with love and respect. I felt like I was part of the family. It was just wonderful. I have never had such good care. They would call me and see how I was doing. They were very friendly. They were excellent.

One of the caregivers has been here several times, we were interviewing for a live-in aide for my mom. I was stumbling with some of the questions because I'd never had to do to certain things anymore and I was about to see her out, but the caregiver popped her head out and suggested some questions that I should ask that I didn't think to ask. She was gracious enough to help us out with that. As we've gotten to know the aides better, it has gotten better because the services take a load off of me. They know what to do for my mom, so they give me time to do things for myself. I have greater peace of mind knowing that someone is here with my mom.

Loving Arms Elder Care is sketchy depending on the caregiver that comes. I've had caregivers that were excellent, but others that I had to tell them what to do over and over. Sometimes the caregivers make me a homemade meal, but other times they just pulled something out of the fridge.
