BAYADA achieved accreditation by demonstrating compliance with CHAP national standards of excellence in the provision of care services. The rigorous CHAP accreditation process involves a thorough examination of the business and service aspects of the entire BAYADA Home Health Care organization — including office and client visits — in order to evaluate service quality, structural strength, organizational effectiveness, and human and financial resources. Our Pittsburgh area office located in North Versailles specializes in adult assistive care services, however, Private Duty Nursing, Pediatrics and Habilitation services are available through our nearby sister offices. BAYADA Pittsburgh works closely with our local ALS, MS and MDA programs, participating in fund raising events and community walks, as well as drives for local homeless and shelter organizations.

We are a small family owned Non-Medical Home Care Agency with a strong focus on quality of care and caregiver consistency for our clients. The caregivers of Freedom at Home have passed a criminal background check and have passed a 2 Step T.B. test. Freedom at Home caregivers have also passed a drug screening and competency test and are trained as per the State of PA requirements. Freedom at Home provides caregivers that are bonded and insured. Freedom at Home strives to uphold excellent client service which is one of the advantages of being a smaller family owned company.
