My mom was at Carolina Caring. They assessed her and did all her day-to-day care. She was there pretty much because she had metastatic breast cancer and she was end-stage. They just kept her very comfortable. We were very pleased with them. I couldn't ask for a nicer bunch of people. They gave her medicine, and the nursing assistant gave her baths. The staff were great. The place was beautiful. It was nice and well cared for. Some places smelled and stuff, but this did not smell, and it was very nice. They kept us abreast of what was happening and what they thought. They did a good job.

We're using Carolina Caring for my mom, which is a local hospice provider at Catawba County. The service, I would rate a 10. There's not enough good things you can say about them. They're efficient, on-time, they deliver things and it's all covered by Medicare. They are great with older people and or disabled people, and they have amazing personalities. They are also proactive not reactive, so they see things ahead of time and they provide. They call you and suggest things that could be done ahead of time before bad things happen. This hospice is the best. They're absolutely wonderful, all the nurses, social workers, doctors, PA's you can't ask for anything better. The communication between us and this hospice provider is just perfect.

My Mother has Alzheimer's is in there now. She was under hospice care and had to be placed in their Hospice Houise facility in Sherrills Ford NC because of a fall she had at home that resulted in a broken hip and shoulder . Everyone has been phenomenal to her, me, her grandchildren and friends. They have been upfront and honest with me and I am sure my mother, who was a nurse herself would be pleased of the care she has received. The staff their takes such care of everyone there and they have such loving hearts when it comes to their patients. And it takes a special heart to provide the end of life care for people. The place is clean. The rooms are big. A nice canteen area. There is also a living room area with TV and such. Also a sunroom. A very comforting place.

During the month of June, both my mother-in-law and her mother had short lived stays at the Hospice facility due to an ending battle with cancer. We could not have asked for better care- the staff was amazing during our time of need. Not only did they comfort our loved ones, they made sure our family had anything and everything they could ask for. When we had questions- they were answered, when we just wanted a listening ear, they were there.... thank you so much,
