I started out really weak, and I'm almost near where I was, I am improving. There was a mix-up during COVID. There was some loss of communication. They sent two occupational therapists to my home. I only needed one. The communication could be improved.

She's been in and out of the hospital. It's been helpful. It hasn't made a huge difference. I think, for my mom in particular, we had one caregiver who made notes when someone came in the home to make assessments on my mom. She took notes on what was said, and what the others hospitalists said about mom. That was very helpful. I like that it has good communication between the client and the company. Most of their caregivers are very attentive.

I don't have to go to the hospital to have an infusion done, so it makes it convenient for me. My biggest problem has been the nurse turnover rate. I've had eight or nine different nurses, and all were supposed to be a permanent nurse. They've let me down.

They were really helpful and they were really flexible. We had to move quickly and my parents are out of state, so we had to move them and my dad had a longer recovery and they were super flexible about that. Everything was very convenient and easy, so we did not have to worry about that. They have a large work force, so if the primary care was not available they were able to get somebody for us. My dad was the primary caregiver and he was in the hospital, and we liked the flexibility of them finding someone other than the primary caregiver.

They bathed my husband, gave him a shower, and shaved him, which was wonderful because I have a bad back and hip. There are a lot of things I wasn't supposed to do. The caregiver would go shopping with me and do all the things that were hard for me to do. The caretaker we had was absolutely wonderful but we needed her full-time but they said that if she left the company and came with us full time we would have to pay them thousands of dollars for losing her. It was hard because we cared for the caretaker very much and she was good with my husband.
