I chose A Gentle Touch when we needed care for my husband in large part because it is a locally owned family business. In my experience I've found that to be an indicator of quality and accountability in any business, their reviews supported that assumption and our experience validated it. We were very happy with the caregiver they provided, she was always on time and cheerful and made sure he was comfortable and safe. On a day she was not able to come they had a fill-in ready, she was just as good as the first. I get the feeling their employees are quite loyal which must mean they are treated well or they wouldn't stick around, respect is a two way street. There are lots of agencies around that are associated with health care networks or national chains or franchises, I've known people who used them and it was a crap shoot whether they'd even show up much less provide compassionate care. I wouldn't hesitate to call Gentle Touch, they are the gold standard in my opinion

Gentle Touch has provided round the clock 24/7 care to my mom while recovering in a rehab facility. The attentiveness, dedication and flexibility by the whole organization has been above and beyond. Responsive, quick and patient, they have accommodated all our requests efficiently and quickly. Moreover the aides that have provided have not only been punctual and present, but have gone out of their way to treat my mom as if she was one of their relatives and not just a client. We were told about them by a friend and needed them for a fairly quick turnaround, so even basic competency would have sufficed. However it has been so much more and a pivotal piece of my mom's recovery. Can't recommend them enough.

We have been very fortunate to have found Gentle Touch for my disabled wife. Our Aide has become part of our family and she has introduced a comfort zone for my wife which is indescribable. Additionally, the office staff at Gentle Touch , especially Gail, have been extremely supportive in the scheduling and the procurement process of finding a helper when our regular Aide was unavailable.
