Home Instead has been an answer to our prayers. The caregivers have treated my mother-in-law like their own mom. We are so appreciative of their care because it looks like love and it has helped our family immensely during a very hard time.

We have been using the wonderful care team at Home Instead for more than 4 years now. They've taken us through many successful transitions with my mother's care, from home to nursing home. I cannot say enough about how caring, diligent, supportive and professional they are. Our care manager is highly involved and experienced, I don't know what we would have done without them all. Grateful.

Caregivers do grocery shopping, household chores, meal prep, transportation to doctor's appointments, etc. They are always on time and communicate when they may be delayed. Caregivers are very friendly and caring and the coordinator has been very responsive to requests for adjustments.

They go above and beyond to provide great care. Their RN keeps my updated with each visit. The care givers even offered transportation while accompanying our mother to special events at Christmas time. Call it personal care where everyone feels special.

I've had a very meaningful relationship with Home Instead. From the time my mother needed assistance in her weekly routine at home - to today where she is now in memory care - Home Instead has been a helpful guide in discussing options and best practices for navigating the hazards and challenges of memory loss. Most importantly, they helped me find ways to communicate more effectively with Mom and to understand how the progression of her disease changes her abilities. I do not live in close proximity to Mom, and Home Instead visits her during the week to ensure she has the personal attention she needs. Mom looks forward to these visits and views these caregivers as volunteers and friends. Mom has the same caregivers each week, so they are aware of developing issues and changes and they convey any concerns to me - such as when Mom's tooth was bothering her. Mom felt at ease telling her Home Instead caregivers because of her routine relationship with them. This personal attention is a key to her success. The Home Instead caregivers collaborate with Mom's memory care staff to determine best approaches for her individual needs. They are punctual, responsive to requests, and genuinely caring. Their guidance and presence has been invaluable.

I tried to engage in-home care services for my grandmother earlier, but she thought it would limit her independence. When she moved to an apartment in a facility and soon after fell and broke ribs going to the bathroom, she was moved into the skilled area of the facility. She rapidly declined and dementia took hold and the real grandmother I had grown up with as a caring, loving independent woman was disappearing in front of our eyes. So I engaged Home Instead Senior Care who matched her perfectly with Heidi, who took her outside, sang to her and with her, and read from her Bible twice a week when she came to see Grandma. Since music is one of the last memories to fade, there were songs Grandma remembered better than Heidi! Home Instead made the process seamless and easy for me, and brought relief to my family who couldn't be with her as often as we all wanted to. Heidi continued to spend time with Grandma up until a few days before she went to heaven. I would highly encourage anyone with a loved one who needs a little or a lot of help, to seek out Home Instead Senior Care and give them a try. They do what they say they will do, and then some. Thank you Home Instead!

Due to illness my Mother was having difficulty with walking, traveling, anxiety, depression etc. She had a Grandson that was getting married and wanted to attend the wedding but did not feel she would be able to do so. Home Instead was able to arrange for her to be helped with getting ready, traveling to and from the Church and the reception. The Person providing the care and help was great. She was very attentive and made my Mother feel comfortable, allowing her not to feel dependant on the family, she could decide when to eat, leave, and was able to enjoy this very special occasion. We would definitely use their help again if needed.

The service has been more than I expected. My mother has a visit in the morning and in the evening. The care workers do everything I ask them as far as helping her dress, reminding her to get her medications, assisting her with her heading aids, etc. more than that, they genuinely care about her and build a relationship. The agency keeps the same people assigned so they get to know her and she them. This has proved to be so important. I would highly recommend them.

We got a private nurse at home taking care of my mother. We chose to have Home Instead Senior Care for almost 2 months now. I cannot say anything bad about her caregiver. So far, so good. She's very nurturing and attentive when it comes to taking care of mom. I must say we found the right caregiver for our family. She's doing a really good job and she already coped up with the situation because my mom is kind of grouchy. But the most important thing is that my mom is comfortable with her caregiver. I'm a home health nurse by the way, so I see what's all up about the community. I would definitely recommend Home Instead Senior Care to others.
