We contracted with Arcadia to help out with our elderly parents, one of whom has dementia, and the other with poor health. I was especially impressed with how helpful they were dealing with dementia, it really made a huge difference in quality of life. Two things impressed me the most about Arcadia's Springvale office: their willingness to pitch in when we had caretaker emergencies and their training. A few times the office help came in for emergency needs when I needed to help my elderly mother. I also later became a certified PSS thanks to Arcadia training and qualified for the Maine program to get paid to take care of my own mother. Instead of costing our family, it paid off to work with Arcadia!

My dad is 77 years old and still lives independantly but frequently has a need to be taken to certain dr appointments, grocery stores or if not feeling well, a need for someone to do quick cleaning, meal preparation in his apartment or assistance with organizing his various medications.
