The caregivers were able to give good care while I was out of the house. I asked if we could have the same caregiver come consistently, and the agency hardly did that. It makes it hard to have a new person to introduce to the routine, and harder for me. Sometimes there is a communication barrier with the language. They seemed competent and able, just couldn't interact with my wife. Rather than sit there and look at the phone to talk with my wife.

The nurses doing my wound changes are doing amazing! My wounds are shrinking already. I have issues with the woman who is coming over to give me bathes. She is too aggressive. My other nurses however are 10s.

Just knowing that my dad is safe with them while I am at work, means a lot. I was struggling to do everything, and you can't even measure the worth that their help has been. I would recommend them because our caregiver is the bomb! She is very good with my dad, and we have had a good experience.

Right now they're doing fine. My mother tries to be as independent as possible. One of them does her laundry when she's there and the other vacuums. They do dishes. I'd like her to have more consistency in care. It used to be a different person every day.

My caregivers have helped me the most by going to dialysis with me. I like that they have nice workers. They're nice, polite, respectful, and on time. I have only had a couple cases where they were late, but they weren't very late. I like them.

No doubt! I was very disabled, some of the real star workers there were very encouraging, it was a very tough time for me. They also had caregiver skills over and above the advertisements, but lots of emotional intelligence in workers. Overall they are not perfect but the caregivers that I have had have been excellent, I did not know them at first and was very disabled, felt like company hired people you can trust.

Just because the fact that his disease is progressing it makes it hard for him to do anything and it has made a large impact on him. the overall interaction and clean up. One of the reasons we didn't receive a call when something changed. We asked for the same person, and they said they would work with us. There were times when thing wasn't handled appropriately. We have more communication now.

They help get blood sugar readings which has been crucial because my dad's blood sugar has been way off. Having that consistency has been game changing. I like the attention to detail. They leave notes in a notebook of my dad's care. There's a notebook with the blood sugars and being able to refer to that is helpful.

It has more to do with his condition. He alone cannot take care of himself. The company of others gives him conversation, and they help in fixing his food. Without that, he wouldn't have nice days. I would go visit her, and her house would be a disaster. I would spend more time cleaning than being with her. Now, I have more time to be with her. They have good communication. We have to have somebody to do general straightening up in the kitchen, washing dishes, making breakfast, and changing beds. Sometimes, my loved one needs help with dressing and checking if we've taken our pills. They could send the same people and try to have a regular person. It takes me as long to tell them about what we want them to do as I could do it myself.

I think that on their end, they should have had a little more training. The person we had was brand new, and she was personable. However, didn't make sure to check in on things like taking word from my dad instead of asking her agency. She just didn't have a lot of initiative, and they should be taught to deal with elders. They could've taken more initiative because the people they brought in would just sit and read. The description I had was that they would clean and cook, but they didn't take that initiative. My parents just saw people sitting around.

It was so inconsistent and they couldn't be relied on. The whole time they worked with me, they were on time maybe twice or three times. I had a year of dealing with them and they were never on time. They never sent the same caregiver twice when they said they would. One of the caregivers left my mother alone and I've been overcharged for when they weren't even here.

Part of the problem with the services is that my expectations aren't the same as my mom's expectations. My mom is uncomfortable with the constant turn over of caregivers. The last person who came didn't clean very well where she is supposed to clean. There is someone else there with my mom, so the socialization is good. Laundry has been done well a few times. The very first person they sent hadn't finished the paperwork, and she hasn't come back and I don't know why. The communication isn't very good. I asked for a phone call a couple times and none came. The person who communicates the best is the one that oversees things on the weekend. It isn't the same person so it is really hard to let them get to my mom where she lives.

I have had excellent care in the past, but recently I don't feel like BrightStar Care has treated me with respect. Some of the caregivers tell me they feel they should be paid more. Since I can't drive, the caregivers take me to the store. I hate asking for help, so it is nice to have people help me without me having to ask.

The only problem I am having isn't with BrightStar Care, but with the insurance policy I have to pay for their service. Because of my policy, BrightStar Care can't do a lot for me. They can't drive me anywhere or do any washing. However, I have liked all the people that have been here from BrightStar Care. The caregivers are nice and I've met a lot of them. Maybe about three of them are my favorites and I would like to have them back. I think BrightStar Care has done a very good job. BrightStar Care can't do too much for me due to the insurance policy I have, so I can't hold that against BrightStar Care.

I would recommend BrightStar Care because of the caregivers that I have had. They've been very nice. I couldn't be any happier than I am with my caregiver. We have so much in common and she drives me anywhere I want to go. BrightStar Care has helped because it's the only way I could go anywhere.

You should speak up to BrightStar Care if you don't like a specific caregiver. I could sleep at night and not worry.

I would tell someone that BrightStar Care has been very good with last minute scheduling. All of the caregivers that come are professional, kind, and sweet. The services are great because I do not have to worry about if my daughter is being taken care of.

BrightStar Care is reliable, shows up when they say they are going to, are nice people, and take good care of my wife. BrightStar Care gives me some time off from caring for my wife.

I would recommend BrightStar Care because they did everything they said they would do. I had them for such a short time, but they made life easier for me to know that she was being taken care of.

3/4 of the BrightStar Care caregivers are excellent. The scheduling isn't clear, and I wish they would pay their caregivers more. The management is extremely responsive to my father's needs. I wouldn't be able to survive without BrightStar Care's services.

I am the sister of one of their current participant and yes they have helped us so very much and the ability to get someone in an emergency has been great, My sister has CP and she is a total lift and has a type of lift to get her transferred from bed to the portable toilet to her wheelchair,, I am sure not just she uses it, but my only suggestion that would be all or a lot of the assistants team up and learn about more of the clients so they can be aware of and educated a little on the machinery before being sent to be her assistant, but again ,, they have done great and sent even the office mngrs over to the house to assist when needed and this really meant a lot to us all !!
