We have one caregiver that is really on top of it and really good. The others are okay, but they don't come that often. The caregivers get him up and give him a bed bath. They get him dressed and in his wheelchair. They prepare a breakfast for the both of us. I do the pills, the caregivers don't. They help me walk him once a day because he is in a wheelchair. They need to work on communication.

The caregivers have helped the most by making our environment cleaner. It's been an all-around help. They have helped us by cleaning our environment and helping us emotionally just by being here. I think they're great. It's been a great help to us. They help us do things that we're not able to do such as housekeeping. I would recommend this agency to anybody. It has really helped me and my husband so much. It has helped me more because I am the one who does the housekeeping. They are able to do things for him such as cleaning his room really well and do the laundry. It's been a great help. I think it's an awesome service.

When I asked the caregiver to give my mother a bed bath, she could have done that and done more for her, my mother, out. I asked her to encourage my mother to exercise and drink her protein shakes and the caregiver never did that either. The first lady from Home Helpers who came to set up everything said she was going to bring paperwork, and she never brought it and so the caregiver said she was going to get it and they never brought that packet of paperwork to know what to do. However, it was nice to have some help from Home Helpers.

He loves it when the caregiver comes. The agency has made my experience positive because they reached out when my dad was in the hospital. They reach out to me and check in on him. It means a lot. The homecare worker really cares about him. In the beginning, there was miscommunication with Home Helpers. It has gotten better over the last few months. For me personally, it goes from, there was one time I was having to contact them to see if the worker was going to make it due to the snow. I talked to them, and they tried to contact me and my phone didn't get it. There was some miscommunication there. They seemed to work it out. They now send me texts. I get my texts.

She does anything he needs to be done when she is there. The caregiver is perfect for what she is there to do. She's beginning to feel like part of the family.

There are no ways I can think of for the provider to have a greater impact. They could if they were there all the time but they're not there all the time. They do a good job cleaning his apartment and straightening stuff out. There is nothing I can think of for improvement. The caregiver is very nice and I think she takes care of my brother pretty well.

We discontinued services after several cancellations at the last minute by the caregiver. The caregivers themselves were great and was a great help. But there were two incidents that we were called with a two hour notice that the caregiver couldn't come. We had to cancel plans that were very important to us. Then another time they sent a replacement, who couldn't do the things we needed. She said she just thought she had to sit while he was in bed. I don't blame the girls. It's poor communication and scheduling and organizing.

The caregivers haven't been doing their jobs to help and when the caregivers come, they do a minimum and then leave. We were told that the caregivers would transport them to important appointments. The caregivers haven't been accomplishing anything being asked by the family. They are left with a list of things to be done and it doesn't get done properly.
