We plan and make sure that we have the days and times set up accordingly. I have talked to them about nursing care and what I prefer and they always deliver what I ask for.

The caregivers help me by cooking for me. Whenever I call them, I get quick follow up.

The caregivers need more motivation to get up out of their chairs and do their job. I am not convinced that they understand our needs and the client's psychological profile.

The infusion really helps me when the caregiver does it. They are good about being here on time and the caregiver is very concerning about me.

They help me move. They helped me move from my last home. They are reliable. The level of training they require I like.

I can't begin to tell you what my life is like now. It's so different, it's so wonderful. It gave me back my life. I like the nurse that they send out.

They come and help him with things like taking a vitals assessment. She has also done leg wraps. The nurse helped us learn how to maintain the leg wraps. I liked that they had a lot of services available and they had a JACHO certification.

They help me in many ways. I still feel like I need to be involved since my mom is in memory care. I do think they are doing the best they can. There are transitions though. My mother has dementia so she is declining. I think they try their best to help me in every way. They try really hard which I appreciate.

This company is so caring, the care givers are amazing, I searched many agencies to find someone responsible to care for my mom. To be kind, listen to her concerns along with doing what they said they would do. Worked great for my mom. Between the aids and office staff very caring. Highly recommend them.

Without them, I probably wouldn't make it. They do everything right. If they didn't have something, they'd get it for me. If something they ordered something that didn't come in, they'd get on it right away.

I think the people that they send me are good. When they are not coming there is not someone to replace them. They can get me some more help. I guess they do not have a lot of people there now. I do not know what is going on.

The people that they hire are helpful. The CNA that I have has been with me for almost 3 years. I just deal with the CNA that they send out and I am satisfied with her.

It's nice to have someone come that you get to know and to be able to leave the house. I'm glad their service exists. I don't have any complaints. He can walk and do things so they're just hanging around with them.

When they come they do a good job. I'd like it for them to have longer periods of time at the house instead of just 2 hours. They need to let the client know when a caregiver isn't coming.

He had to be watched away all of the time, because he would be still, and then jump out of his chair out of nowhere. They did what I asked them to. What I needed from them, was exactly what they provided.

The caregivers did not get stuff done that I asked them to do. BrightStar Care need to get caregivers who actually work and not caregivers who just want to talk.

I didn't know he actually discontinued so I don't know what that is about. They put on his socks and did a pretty good job. They emptied his trash and put on his compression socks, which are hard to put on. They did everything that he wanted. The last person that came in gave him a shower.

It isn't doing me a whole lot of good for the time of day that they come. I get up early and can get it all done by the time they come. They come in, and sometimes, they don't know what to do.

They were capable people. They did what you wanted. They didn't complain. The only thing is they didn't know where they were going to be sent. I would like them to reliable. If they had a person scheduled to come at a certain time then they should come. Every new person missed a day. Everyone missed a day. The owner was the problem.

They showed professionalism, love, and a willingness to be there. There was so much I can't say. They are an incredible company. I don't have a bad thing to say about them. All of them were so incredibly professional. They were the greatest over the phone. Someone else came out and questioned us. I was so impressed. She said I could contact her anytime. She was there and truly concerned about my mom. The love they showed was so incredible.

They take care of my husband for me, they get him dressed and give him a bath and stuff like that. It would take me longer to do. The one that comes here in the morning is very nice and efficient, and she gets things done in a timely manner. She helps with anything I need.

I would not recommend BrightStar Care to others because of their caregivers. BrightStar Care could have made my life easier if they did something about the problems with my caregiver after they found out. I would have liked them to fire this caregiver.

I would tell a friend that BrightStar Care has been pretty uneven. The caregivers are completely different style of caregivers. BrightStar Care has made my life easier because I wouldn't feel comfortable without them being close by when my loved one is taking their shower. They give me that ease of mind.

Bright Star is a private duty and non-medical healthcare agency. It is one of the new kids on the block in the Wichita area, but has other locations in Oklahoma and Arkansas. They screen their employees, background check them and train them well. They claim to go above and beyond the average healthcare agency and I hold them to that standard. Great for respite care and assistance for someone with Alzheimer's. The company gives lots of emphasis on personal attention and making sure that they match the right care-giver for your needs. An initial assessment is done by an RN and that is always a good thing.
