The scheduling and being able to manage that piece gave me peace of mind. The staff seemed punctual and nice they also seemed approachable, and did a good job with scheduling.

So far, the agency fulfills all the needs that I was needing them to do. I've only used the agency for a month and half/two months, but my mom is very happy, and I am very happy because it has taken some work load off of me.

It was very helpful because it kept my mom safe from falls. I didn't have any big complaints, I liked that there were some caregivers that my mom really liked. Hannah was also very helpful with setting up the care provided.

Our nurse has been great with helping with his development. We have had a lot of turnover with nurses since we've been working with them, and there were big gaps of time between the nurses. Overall, they've been good to work with, but it seems like there are some challenges with communication.

When the caregivers come its okay. Some caregivers are better than others. They could be more reliable. We have had a lot of no show and no call issues and that is very frustrating.

I would have liked the agency to have done more than the bare minimum for my client. I think I would like better communication and better quality of the staff. The actual caregivers were not great and there needs to be better oversight on what the caregivers are doing and there is no one in charge.

The only problem we had was one of the caregivers was under the impression that the only thing she was to take care of was the patient and didn't want to do any other work. I think that has been taken care of because we told BrightStar Care about it.

The service was helpful. Some caregivers were definitely helpful and helped me with my other kids as well as with minimal house cleaning. I had one caregiver that even organized my pantry for me. There were others that needed more direction. I would like to see more training. My son had a hoyer lift, and no one that came to see us was really familiar with the lift. The caregivers need to be able to do that. Some caregivers were good at asking about what else they could do to help me. I don't know what the cell phone policy is, but they were on their cell phones a lot, probably more than they should have been.

I have them come to give me a bath twice a week. They don't have very much of an impact on my daily life. They send people that aren't very good, and they don't have a good ability to talk to people, or they are too large to get down on the floor to put my compression socks on. They have a contract with the government and the VA. I'm glad they have that relationship with the VA. They need to improve the type of personnel they get to work for them.

The impact that the administration has is very negative, but my core staff is amazing. The in-home staff is willing to assist me with things, but they don't take over. They help me with my dog and go the extra mile. They are willing to take me to events last minute, even if it is inconvenient because they know it will be fun for me. The scheduling is very inconsistent. They are rude to me when I'm asking for clarification on things. My staff keeps quitting on me, and they have to find someone else that is a stranger. It makes me uncomfortable. The owner is very rude and constantly on vacation.

They are willing to do anything I ask and sometimes it is nice to have someone to sit and talk with me; other times it's nice to have someone who is up and around helping get things done. They have both kinds of caregivers and I appreciate having them even more when I have a super busy day. They are good. I've had home help before and I feel like BrightStar Care has come in and brought me back up and ready to go.
