Homestead sent my husband a care pro that I thought was god sent(Stephanie )was her name. She made dr appointments so gracefully.she asked questions to the doctors that me or my husband didn't know how to ask. She is an amazing loving care giver kept my nice and clean and made sure a meal was prepared each day before she left.hope to use this company in near future if ever needed .

The home office called and set an appointment for a meeting. The agency never showed or called. I called headquarters to inquire on the issue and they never called back either.

Awesome communication, professional and values my opinion! Wish I had hired them sooner. The difference is night and day from my previous agency, I feel confident my parents are safe and well cared for. They are where they want to be, at home!

We started using Home Instead in 2010 when my 92-year-old dad needed more help than my 91-year-old mom could provide. We were so pleased with Home Instead that we continued their services for my mom after my dad died in 2011. We credit the four hours of daily support from Home Instead for allowing my now 98-year-old mom to remain in her own home for the past seven years. Home Instead provides daily companionship, plus gets Mom to the doctor, grocery store, hair salon, and to church on Sundays. Home Instead also ensures that Mom gets two nutritious meals daily and that Mom has easy “fixings” for her evening meal. If Mom’s normal caretaker cannot make it, Home Instead has ensured that another caretaker arrives on time. The Home Instead staff is dedicated to their profession. An example of their dedication is when a hurricane came through Mom’s city. Despite significant inconvenience in her own life due to the hurricane, the caretaker checked on my mom very early in the morning, as the winds died down. She first ensured that Mom was okay. Then she checked the house and yard for damages and reported those to me, including photos from her cell phone. She also recognized that without electric power, Mom could not be left alone… as her emergency button would not work. She stayed with Mom and personally worked a solution by calling Mom’s brother in another town and when taking Mom to their home some thirty minutes away. Needless to say, we have been delighted with the professionalism and dedication of Home Instead.

Wonderful caring staff. They care for the ill person and for the caregiver. Prompt and courteous, helpful and supportive, answering questions and concerns based on training and experiences they may have had. It has taken so much pressure off of me that I did not realize I was under. I couldn’t be happier with the care we’re receiving.

Angela is a very valuable asset to the Thomasville office. She promptly addressed any issues/problems I brought to her attention. I would suggest that all caregivers who work for a client have each other's cell phone numbers so they can communicate with each other regarding issues relating to the client.

I chose Home Instead in Valdosta because I had heard good things about them in my location in Florida. I needed something notarized the first visit (not pertaining to them or their services, yet Jack H. brought his office manager to my parents home to assist us. That told me a lot about them since at that time I had not hired Home Instead! I was pleased with the time they took to get to know my parents and their needs. They picked the most wonderful person to stay with my mom. It was a perfect blend of personalities, and allowed my dad to leave the house for a few hours everyday to do what he wanted. Even after my dad died, and my mom came to live with me, Jack has stayed in touch and sends me information and webinars related to my mom's issues. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for good in-home care of a loved one.
