I would recommend Visiting Angels of the Palm Beaches. We've been very pleased with them. What I like the best is they have well-vetted aides and there's almost a curation process to bring the correct aide that is a good match for the family and to the home. They help with cooking, light housekeeping, and basic self-care. The aide is a lovely woman who is a breath of fresh air.

My mother is using Visiting Angels of the Palm Beaches. It's been a little rough. It took quite a while for them to finally have somebody come in to see her. It didn't work out with the first person. The second one was wonderful, we loved her, but she had a family issue come up, and then the third person failed to show up. We have a fourth one that started last week. This will only be her second visit. They have failed to call and let me know that somebody wasn't showing up in the past, but lately it's been better. Hopefully, it will stay that way. I tried to explain to them that if they're not gonna show up, they need to let me know. My mother is 87 years old, and it makes her a little unsettled and worried. However, they're very nice people and I think they're working at getting it straightened out. Hopefully this will stay in place this time. They have been better about contacting me the last week. The biggest issue was they didn't keep in contact and they had issues with keeping people informed. They only come one day a week for a few hours and try to help my mom organize because she has dementia. She puts her medications in her desk. We can't go in there, but the caregivers can. They check the food in her refrigerator. They've just been really helpful in keeping her clothes organized, just general awareness of putting things away, and putting things where they need to be like her medications. I've sent a list of things that we'd like them to do and they are very cooperative about that, but that was with the caregiver that we just loved.

From the “MOMENT” I called you to “help!”, you came to the house to assess the needs. You were flexible with time schedules. The In-House office staff handling the case, money matters, sending out the various aides were incredibly prompt to reply, answer questions, or just to supervise that every aspect of her needs were covered. Your precious aides who came out to the house were gentle, kind, watchful, dependable to show up when they were expected, and gracious with all the difficult aspects of caring for a patient with end stage cancer.
