I would highly recommend Haven Hospice. It was a VERY beautiful facility for hospice care. It was very well put together, well maintained, and well managed. There were sitting areas in and out. They were also VERY attentive, personable, professional, and caring. There was always someone there or close to being there. If you have questions or concerns, they are met very quickly. I was VERY impressed that just before the holidays a harpist came in. They maintained a very mellow and very comforting environment for the guests.

Haven Hospice was recommended by the nursing home when my mother was in rehab treatment. The staff was wonderful, everything they did was over the top. The nurse came every week and they were always on time. Whenever I called, they called me back immediately. I can't say enough good about them.

Haven Hospice was a wonderful facility for my mother to spend the last few days of her life. The staff was compassionate, efficient, honest, and straightforward with all of my family.

I am so upset everytime I hear the add for haven hospice. My father broke his neck and had been in NICU for 7.5 months on ventilator. His body had started to shut down and we had discussed with Dad and Dr.s that we would take Dad home and after the family got to spend time we would remove him from the ventilator. Haven responded that the time we chose was inconvenient and that if we went with them they would remove Dad from ventilator but we ONLY had a couple of hours then after they were set up they would begin the process of weining with medication to relieve anxiety and turn off the ventilator. The only other option was to go with another hospice from the other coast that would come in and medicate Dad keep him calm and anxiety free, but would not turn off the ventilator. I had been a nurse for hospice some years ago and knew how hard this whole process would be so I turned down and off the ventilator. Knowing the anguish it would cause my family if they had to do this job. I am still haunted with the fact that I took my father off his life support. It upsets me so to hear the commercial about the man that has story time with his daughter and hospice works around HIS schedule. This is one daughter that haven hospice made those last moments a lifelong nightmare. I cannot recommend haven to anyone with a clear conscience. I am writing after being up another sleepless night due to nightmares after 19 months after my Father passed away.
