The management and staff at Family Pillars were great. They met with my Mom and me, discussed their services, hours and costs. Tracy (the Head RN) did a great job evaluating Mom's needs, and was onsite when Mom's health deteriorated to discuss care and needs with the in home caregiver. Our time of need for services were short, but the family was very pleased, reassured and comforted by the entire care team.

We are using Family Pillars Homecare - Ft Lauderdale, FL. They are helping my dad with a home health care aide. We give them the schedule, they work around us and they've been good. The salesperson was very nice. He was compassionate and helpful, and I felt comfortable going with them.

We used Family Pillars Homecare for my mother-in-law. They came in and they stayed four hours, got her up in the morning, showered or bathed her, got her dressed, and made her breakfast. They did laundry if she needed laundry done, changed her bed, gave her lunch, cleaned after, and then they'd leave. The caregiver was great. She did her job and did it well. My mother-in-law liked her. She was compassionate, friendly, and personable, yet professional. She sat and talked talked with her and made sure and she explained everything she was going to do to her and why she was doing it, so it didn't shock her while she was doing it. They were average-priced. The only thing that I have negative to say about that was when my caregiver called in sick. They didn't notify us in a timely fashion that nobody would be there. Overall, they were great.

My mother was recovering from a long hospital and rehab stay after a fall. She needed more care than our family could handle. Family Pillars and Pat made her homecoming manageable. They enabled us to keep her in her home with the help from their caregivers. The caregivers that were involved in our care came on time and were very patient with my mom. I truly felt like they cared about us. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
