I would like to thank the great staff at Sandre De Cristo. For a year and a half they helped with hospice care for my mother in law. I can't express how compassionate and kind they were. Thank you for all the help and wonderful service.

We were blessed to have the care of Sangre de Cristo Hospice for our loved one for almost three months before she passed. The love, care and compassion provided by every member of the staff was above anything we could have asked for! Hospice seemed like it was going to be a scary transition and a quick ending, however, it was some of the best months we have had in a very long time. On behalf of our family, thank you for the love and care you have provided to our family! We could not have done it without you! If you have to make the choice to place your loved one on hospice, we would highly recommend Sangre de Cristo Hospice!

What a blessing each member of Sangre de Cristo has been. Above all, I truly felt their compassion embrace my brother, as well as the immediate family members vigilant at his side. I could not have asked for more or better care than he received — they gave it all.

My fathers wife just recently passed. I was very disappointed that he wasn’t more prepared on what to expect In her last days. Im not certain that a chaplain, HHA or MSW was even offered. The night she passed, No one from this Hospice has the decency to show up. Her daughters had to clean her up. My father had no idea what to do when she took her last breath. He was all by himself and panicked. I certainly wouldn’t recommend this Hospice. Very disappointed.

My family member is currently in their services. They are kind , knowledgeable and friendly . Quick to respond . They always answer my calls and I get a call back from my nurse within 15 minutes. They make my Mom comfortable with all the care they provide to her , which can be a challenge as she is a difficult patient at times. I couldn't be more happy switching form the "other" local hospice which was a nightmare. We have had Sangre de Cristo's services for about 5 months and are very happy with them and would recommend them 100 times over. True heroes in hard and difficult part in life where we don't know all the ways to go . They help guide us and give Mom the highest quality of care imaginable .

I had them care for my grandma and they were wonderful. The doctor makes house calls & the night nurses were great at helping us with issues. Our case manager was kind & compassionate. I highly recommend them. They were amazing with my family! Thank you!

I have used Sangre De Cristo Hospice and Palliative Care more than once. It was difficult to allow someone else to take care of my loved ones...so many caregivers wait to long to bring in Hospice. Sangre De Cristo Hospice has so much to offer and sometimes so little time to help. They were great with my brother and sister. They supported me as a caregiver during the dying process and continue to support me after their deaths. Families need to use the sources offered to them so they don't get burnt out. Caregivers can be our own worst enemies...accept the help from Sangre De Cristo Hospice they really are full of compassion!

They want patients just for the money. The services promised are not provided. They also push to get donations so they can have more money. Don't be fooled. Look up their tax filing. They bring in millions of dollars. My mother's care and quality of life was no better because of taking these services. It used to be a good agency but the last year it is all about the money. It is a waste of Medicare dollars and a donation would be better give to a true charity. They do not seem to know what they are doing and you never talk to the same staff or get the same person for services.

Sangre De Cristo Hospice was easy to work with, and they were there most of the time. I could only get a CNA out of these, three days a week and the PT guy would change mom for his two days a week because it maintained the patients’ dignity, but I had a fill two other days out of my own pocket. The first time we asked for a caregiver it was easy, but the second time it’s a little more difficult to get caregivers because they have too much business. The caregiver didn’t mind working with mom, but I was picky of what I wanted, so I can be very difficult. Sangria De Cristo Hospice PT Department gets 5 stars, and I would trust anybody with PT Eric; he went over and above the call of duty.

It is with the greatest appreciation and respect that I submit a testimonial about the care my mother received while in the care of yours nursing, medical and social work staff. I want to say that I am a retired registered nurse of 35 years and respect the work of Dr. Sloan and his staff. My sis and I were informed that hospice had been ordered by the physical in charge of mothers hospital stay. We were in shock. We chose to go with Sangre de Cristo Hospice (Sangre). Mother said she was tired, and wanted to go with God. She was moved to the Sangre de Cristo Hospice House within two hours. Mother was admitted to the beautiful butterfly room. I could see that she felt very comfortable. The care that was given to mother was of the highest professional care that any human can offer. The nurse became very close to the family and helped us through a very difficult time. She explained the dying process in a way that we felt we could help mother. The staff was very compassionate and respectful of mothers privacy and dignity. The day mother passed, her nurse explained how mother was in the presence of God and how we should respect that and talk quietly and explained that the sense of hearing is the last to go, so we could talk to mother and tell her how much we loved her. I will forever be grateful for the dignified way that mother passed with the skilled and loving support of the staff at Sangre de Cristo Hospice House. I believe in angles, and I know just where they are…The Sangre de Cristo Hospice House. In loving memory of my mother, Della Eva

My husband, James, went into the Sangre de Cristo Hospice House on July 2, 2013. The entire staff of doctors, nurses, aides and support personnel could not have done more for my dear husband or me. They made him and our family feel so welcome and took such loving care of Jim. It is just like having another family member with you at all times. Jim was at the Hospice House for almost a month before he passed away. I would strongly recommend the Sangre de Cristo Hospice House for their care and compassion at such a difficult time in our life. Sincerely, Patricia

This company has poor communication. My Mother was dying and I waited on two occasions over 4 hours for a return phone call from an RN. They had the wrong info when they showed up and the house. The CNA did not even know the condition my Mother was in when she came to bathe her- she told me they were not given that info....We basically were on our own at a time we needed help!!

Sangre de Cristo Hospice was not good for me and my family. They are not good at keeping the same people. I had to keep letting new people in my house. I never had the same person more than a few times.
