Called Bayada on a Thursday evening around 4 for help with parent following a lengthy stay at Urgent Care. Needed aide for overnight x 2 nights plus daytime assistance. They got right back to me and had someone in my mom's home by 9 pm to relieve me. AMAZING - empathetic, caring, knowledgeable - everyone I spoke with and saw in my mom's apartment. Won't use anyone else! Thank you.

I had in home Physical therapy and occupational therapy which were both pretty much useless. What really got me is it took them over 2 years to bill me for my copay's! Not even kidding, over 2 years later I get a bill from them. Terrible.

The caregiver from BAYADA Assistive Care is very good, knowledgeable, and excellent. She's preparing meals, doing physical care for me, changing me, and giving me bed baths. She does a very good job, and washes clothes, dries them, and puts them away. She is also always on time, and I'd recommend her to others.

My father has a nurse from Bayada who comes in once a week to check his vitals and set up his meds. The Veterans Administration hired them to take care of him. He has a caregiver who comes in twice a week for bathing and changes his bedding. They will pick him up and take him back and forth to doctors' appointments if you call them ahead of time and schedule it. The nurse seems great. As far as the billing, it goes directly to VA. The service they give him is very good.

Horrible care. They were assigned for post hospital care for my father, there was zero communication between them and his primary care physician. When orders were needed (consultation about possible blood infections, removal of catheter...) Bayada could not provide the order to their own nurse and claimed that the PCP would not put in the orders. This was a lie, I had to contact his PCP myself to get the orders placed , that office never received any communication from Bayada.

Right now, we current have Bayada for our in-home care, and so far everything has been wonderful. The caregivers have good work ethics. They are caring and timely. They help my mother with any services needed, in-home care, exercises, social services, hygiene, and those types of things.

Bayada is a large corporate company. We have had to call for substitute nursing and they have always come through for us. Our insurance does not cover this company, but I would recommend them to anyone needing nursing in their home.

Working together to bring the highest quality care home

At BAYADA, we believe our clients and their families deserve home health care provided with the highest professional, ethical, and safety standards. This belief guides how we hire, support, and develop our health care professionals - and it is demonstrated in the expert, compassionate care they provide.

    Rigorous hiring standards

BAYADA verifies work history, credentials, and references and performs thorough background checks. Our professionals also undergo in-depth interviews, written testing, and hands-on skills assessments before they are hired - and all are fully insured before they visit their first client.

    Ongoing supervision and evaluation

All BAYADA health care professionals are supervised by a registered nurse (RN) clinical manager. The clinical manager or the BAYADA primary clinician makes regular home visits to ensure clients are receiving the highest quality care. Additionally, we reassess each care team member's skills on a regular basis.

    24-hour clinical support

No matter what time of day or night, clients and their care team have access to a 24-hour clinical support team member from their local office should any questions or concerns arise. Each BAYADA caregiver also has a clinical manager who provides ongoing mentoring and support.

A client and family-centered team approach

Our professionals partner with clients and their families in providing care. We communicate regularly with clients, family caregivers, physicians, and the entire care team.

    Unmatched education and training

BAYADA is unmatched in our commitment to providing education and training to our home health care professionals. Through preceptor education programs, mentoring, hands-on lab work, in-service programs, and scholarships for professional development, our caregivers continue to expand and improve the clinical skills they bring to their clients.

    Accreditation

BAYADA is accredited by Community Health Accreditation Program (CHAP), the leading accrediting organization for the home health industry, for voluntarily meeting the industry's highest nationally recognized standards of care. The rigorous accreditation process involves a thorough examination of the business and service aspects of the entire BAYADA Home Health Care organization - including office and client visits - in order to evaluate service quality, structural strength, organizational effectiveness, and human and financial resources.

    Commitment to our core values

At BAYADA, we all share a commitment to providing care with compassion, excellence, and reliability - the core values of our philosophy, The BAYADA Way.
