We were with ResCare. We used them for Mom. The people they sent really didn't do much. They were like glorified babysitters. I wish I made that kind of money just sitting around. Mom had a stroke back in January so she didn't need a lot of help back then either. It was pretty much just light housework every once in a while, and it was usually when one of us kids were coming over. The only advantage to their scheduling was the fact that they had a backup plan if the one person couldn't show up. However, I would leave messages for them and would never get a response.

I have a very good bath lady from Rescare right now named Barbara. I had several before her that there were some problems with. Some were fair, some weren't very good but I like the one I have very much now. She only gives me the bath once a week, washes my hair and helps me get dressed after the bath. She also does a little lotion on my heel where it's sore and my lower leg. She is personable and doesn't complain about anything. I have had other bath lady who would do nothing but complain either about their life or something. She's very sweet, just here on time and pushes the curtain back so I can see out the window before I sleep. Those are some of the things I like about her. With Barbara, I'll give her a 5 star rating. The office staff, the home visit people and the other bath ladies, I'd give them 4 stars rating. But the home visit people are very nice too.

Rescare is good. My daughter chose them for me because she wanted the best. They help me with homecare needs and the ability for me to be in my own house instead of a nursing home. My care giver is clean, neat and doesn't complain when I ask her to do something. I also had a worker from Rescare but I don't know why they fire her. She was the sweetest lady ever. I just love that lady, she was my case manager.

My social worker was the one who chose the company called Care Corner that was sold to Rescare. I've been using Rescare for many years now. At first they were just providing me with showers and my husband did everything else but he died. Now Belen, my caregiver is the one that fixes food for me, helps me take a shower and get dress, keeps the house clean and takes out the garbage. She's wonderful, I just love her to death. What really impresses me about Belen is her caring nature and her willingness to come up with things to help me. She knows I have problem with coordination so she takes me for walks. She's teaching me embroidery so that my coordination can be better and also teaching me Spanish so it can help my mind sharp. I had a few care givers that weren't very good but I had her for almost a year now and she's just wonderful.

I like our caregiver from Rescare very much, she does a very good job. She's very considerate and very kind to Robert even if sometimes he gives her a bad time. She understands that. She mainly accompanies him and stays with him while I get out for a few minutes to do grocery shopping or get away for a while. She's usually very good at that. They've been very kind and understanding so I really enjoyed being able to get a way once in awhile.

Everything is good with Rescare. I like my caregiver, she does what she's supposed to do. I like it because she takes good care of me. She helps me with cooking, my bath and goes to the store for me.

I started with Rescare in October, it was the suggestion of United Health to use them. They have great people that come and take care of me. They come once a week. They clean my house, do my laundry, fold clothes, sweep and mop the floor, clean the bathroom and kitchen. I'm blind, I don't see anything on the floor. If I have mail, they make sure that it's my mail and I open it, they'll open it or we open it together and they usually read it to me. I had some problem with the office but not with the people that come in, I'm very pleased with them. However, they worked on the problem and I have numbers to call like the directors. They're pretty good now. They're a very good company.

I have used Rescare for quite a while now. They've been pretty good. They provide me with home care. The lady comes in and does different things that needs a lot of bending because my back is very bad. She cleans my bathroom, kitchen and living room, changes my bed, vacuums, mops and anything I ask her to do. She is very good. I have really no complaints. If I have a complaint, they solve it right away. I'm very pleased.

I love my caregiver Charlene from Rescare. I have her for four years now, she comes three times a week. Sometimes I just leave the door open because sometimes I might be sleeping and she just does everything. She cleans my house, helps me with showering, makes my bed, takes the garbage out and does anything that I need. Charlene is nice and so fast. She's also fantastic and everything she does, its A+.

My caregiver from Rescare is Dolores. All of the people I had so far had been great. I haven't had any problems with them. Dolores cleans my house, would cook if I ask her to and takes care of my clothes. She's dependable and has a nice touch of humor. She just does a great job.

My daughter has a respite provider, but I provide rehabilitation and the adult tentative care. I'm an employee as well. As far as her respite care provider I've been very pleased, she's always on time. I started working for ResCare when Angel was about 3 years old, so I know the company as far as working for them for Angel's needs. The general interaction is always positive and the caregiver is able to meet the needs that we have for Angel. She's always on time. She does an excellent job as far as her interactions with Angel, which can be difficult some time.

I think they need training for the caregivers for Rescare Homecare. I think that they don’t meet the needs of the patient at all. I am trying to look for a different place, but it’s hard because nobody services where I live up farther North. The staff was bad; they don’t show up on time, and they leave early. They don’t do what they were supposed to do. The caregiver that we have gets involved in everything like I had a direct TV at home, and she asked how much it was. If I come in with a bag, she asked how much it was; she should not be involved in that kind of stuff. They must improve on quality of the people, and they must hire better staff and train them.
