Odyssey did absolutely nothing for my poor 95 yr old dying grandmother. She received no around the clock care, they were unavailable through the entire process. My grandmother suffered in her final hours because of the poor hospice care provided by Odyssey. She was in pain and died w/o the decency of a gentle passing. If you desire genuine care for your loved one, look elsewhere. Odyssey very poor provider. My grandmother passed last night, hospice not present and still has done nothing. My mother was left to find her own mother this morning, after she passed and then left to prepare her for the mortuary.

Worst excuse for a hospice service ever. My mother is taking care of my 95 yr old grandmother who is in the last days of her life, by herself. The nurse says a few days at the most are all my grandmother has left. My mother was told that Odyssey is under-staffed and over-booked so they cannot provide the services they were contracted to provide. My father is in the bedroom next to my grandmother's recovering from treatment for lung cancer. My mother would love to be able to step back in these last days and just be a daughter but she can't because she is having to provide the hospice services herself. And then they told her to let them know when my granny passes and they will help with paperwork. I hope no one else will suffer the way my family is suffering at the hands of this hospice service. My granny has been under their "care" for 2 weeks now and we were just briefed today on "what to expect" and only after my mom complained. Shame, shame, shame on them.

We had Odyssey Hospice for a little over a month when our dad was in the end stage of cancer. They were very helpful and caring. They were with us around the clock in the final two days of his life. They made a tremendous difference for me because as an RN, the family depended on me to be the primary caregiver. It was good to be able to step back in those last hours and just be a daughter. I recommend Odyssey Hospice highly.
