One caregiver was good, she suggested to put sheets on the bed. I need a ride to the rehab because I had a hand in a sling after the surgery, but the ride was not provided. The same lady took me to the rehab herself. Other caregivers helped some around the house, but mostly they were just sitting at a table, and then left early. We were not satisfied with the services. They didn't listen to what we wanted and they didn't provide the care needed. We were told that the caregivers will be here 4 hours a day. They charged us for 6,5 hours although the caregiver was here for 2 hours.

They are there primarily when she is sleeping. My mom doesn't get good quality rest because she doesn't know the people who come and they keep changing and she doesn't trust them. I would like them to live up to what they are advertising. It seems like they started off saying you would have a primary caregiver and then a backup, but a it's a constant rotation of new faces.

I've become much more independent now. I had them 24 hours a day but now I have them four hours a day. When I needed a hand, they were able to do that. Everybody that I've dealt with has been really good and knowledgeable. They're wiling to help me in every aspect that I've needed. I broke my shoulder and right arm. I am dominant right handed, so it has been a very difficult process. I just had a shoulder replacement surgery, so right now I don't have a lot of control of my right hand. I have to have someone help me get dressed and I can't have any weight on my hand or arm for up to six weeks, so they help me with meal prep and laundry. It's been a great help to me, because I live by myself. It's been a big help to me.

This is my second time using them after a serious surgery. I've experienced them and they're the best. The training of their employees is great. All the way from the initial call to the billing staff to the nurses, they're always courteous. When I call and need someone, I'm already stressed out, but the people at BrightStar Care are always calm. They listen and then respond, and then they deliver. For this particular procedure, I was very nervous because I had to wait for the surgeon for two hours. The girl who was there from BrightStar Care prayed for me when I asked her to. After that, the surgeon asked if he could pray for me.
