I was in Parke View Rehabilitation and Care Center. The people were nice. It was very clean. They're very prompt and attentive, and they listened to me. The food was pretty good. I wasn't involved in any activities because I couldn't walk. But they had games, they played bingo, they had nature walks, and they had trips to the store when there wasn't a COVID alert. While I was in there, there were two COVID alerts, so they didn't do much. The room was nice. I had a single room and it was comfortable. Also, they kept the residents pretty busy.

I don't like how the staff treats the residents & family / friends. I had a relative at Parkeview and they had to wait an hour just to use the restroom. It needs to be remodeled and some hallways smell like urine. I do not trust this facility at all and heard from more than one source that some employees are doing drugs. To me personally Parkeview is a serious joke and I will not have my family in this facility ever again.

I don't like how this assisted living center smells like urine when you first walk in the door. You can tell that they only update the main part of the facility; as you move down the hallways you can see the wear and tear of the floors, walls, and the ceilings. The rooms themselves have not been updated in a very long time. This building used to be a hospital, and you can tell when you walk down the halls that are not in view from the main part of the building. It's like they only freshen up what people just walking in will see and ignore the rest.
