The rooms are nice and the facility is clean and esthetically pleasing. The Director, Marketing Manager and Head Nurse are super wonderful and easy to work with and the dining staff is always nice when I visit, which is once a week at a meal but I'm there 2-3 times a week. If your parent needs assistance such as mobility issues, nope not the place. Call times are 20+ minutes at a good time. Yes, I tested it but they won't give you a copy of the response times, I asked. If they fall, they will be on the floor for 30-50 minutes. The communication is non-existent between staff, such as, if your parent goes to the hospital and comes back with a script (which they insist you use their pharmacy), they do not check to see if they got a prescription and if they finally find the script, they don't communicate that it was ordered. They don't clean the rooms, so you will need to help with that. They do wash the clothes and take out the trash and make the bed. Lots of daily activities which is nice, if they can participate. If you want another fulltime job keeping an eye on the people who are to care for your parent, this is the place.

I toured Celebration Villa of York. I like that it's smaller. It's probably like a one-on-one or two-to-one ratio, I like that it's nice and small. Jennifer was excellent. I thought it was clean. It was nice. For me and my mom, it's a thing of money, to get a studio it was like $5500, so that's kind of a little expensive. The staff was very knowledgeable, very nice, and answered all of our questions.

Celebration Villa of York was our favorite one, but it was too far and expensive. It was good. It had everything that we wanted for my dad. They do lots of activities like trips, and going outside to feed the birds, and they have raised gardens that they could do. It checked off all of our boxes. The lady there was great. We spent an hour and a half with her. She gave us a lot of information that we didn't even think of before. She kind of pointed us in the right direction going forward. We checked the dining area. We were going to have lunch and then we were already running late for the next tour, but she gave us a little jar of snacks that she makes for new residents and we had drinks. It was very nice. The apartments were good. It was perfect. It was just what we thought it would be. It was bright and airy. There's indoor and outdoor space.

We toured Celebration Villa of York. The community was very nice. The staff seemed to be very nice. They had different options. The reason they didn't get into contention was because they did not have the option of aging in place. They did not have a separate memory care unit, and I know my sister is going to need that in the future. I didn't want to have to go looking for another community when she got bad. And that's the only reason they fell off the radar. The staff all seemed very pleasant and very caring. They offered music. They had a lot of different activities. It was a clean facility.

The managers at Celebration Villa of York made it very easy for me to get my mother in there temporarily on two separate occasions. They had an activity coordinator that tries to involve every person who stays there and my mom would get involved in some of the things. She had a very good-sized room and she had everything that she needed. The very first time I went there, I was invited to stay for lunch and the food was very good. They give you choices. They treat you as if you are going to a restaurant. Then they come up and tell you what the choices are and they take your order. Everybody was just very friendly and helpful.

My brother has moved into Celebration Villa of York. I've been there several times to visit. So far, they've been very good. He had an episode where he needed to go to the hospital and they were quick to get him there and notified me promptly. They took care of making sure when he was released, that he was transferred back and made all the arrangements between the hospital and themselves. He's back in the community again and home health care is coming in and doing wound care and physical and occupational therapy. So, he's doing well right now. The rooms are clean and neat. It's a pleasant atmosphere. It's like being at home. They encourage them to hang pictures and make it their own room. They go down to meals every day. Unfortunately, right now, they have one resident who is confirmed positive for COVID, so they've been restricted. They've been taking meals in their room the last week. They're hoping that'll get lifted soon, but they are taking precautions, which is good and limiting visitation. Everyone's wearing masks. They've got a nice selection of food. My brother, unfortunately, is a very picky eater and because he's on thickened liquids, it makes it a challenge, but he's been doing much better there. He's eating better definitely. They have activities all day long, just about every day. They have ministers from about every faith come into the community and have services for their residents, which is good. He just does not participate in anything.

My brother is doing very well at Celebration Villa of York. I know he likes it. We liked it the first time we went to see it. The people are very caring. Everybody knows his name. It's very clean. It's a good place. The staff is excellent. They gave us a banana nut cake and that was good, but I have not eaten in the dining hall. My brother says the food is good. The floor plan is a little confusing, but the cleanliness is very good. They keep it very clean. They have lots of activities.

We toured Celebration Villa of York and it was great. As a matter of fact, out of the five that I toured, that's one of the ones that we're seriously looking placing Dad at. It's just a matter of, "Does he have the means to be able to be there?" The room's very accommodating and the bathrooms were very easily accessible, especially the shower area. It was well-maintained. It was a nice, quiet community, away from all the hubbub of traffic and that kind of thing. It was kind of in a country setting, not exactly, but Dad being a farm man all his life, that's what he likes. One of the things that was nice was that each resident's laundry is done separate as opposed to everything is gathered up and gets done. That was a nice feature, I thought. The laundry was included as part of the price, as well as cable TV. WiFi was also included, which is nice. The room cost was a little bit more, but at least I know exactly what it's going to cost. Overall, it was a good experience. The facilities were great, as well as the staff. It seemed like the residents were really friendly. The dining area was great.

Our experience having my mother here was just fine. She stayed in their assisted living. Due to COVID I wasn't allowed to go in. I did a virtual tour at first and I had to sit outside her window to visit.

I like it because it was clean, very friendly, and small. The rooms were clean and fresh. They all have windows with decent views. It is very nicely appointed, and she can also bring her own furniture if she chooses to. They have different activities going on everyday. They have a large dining room for the residents, but they also have a small dining room if you want to celebrate small parties. We were able to talk to the chef, and he was wonderful.

It was very clean, and it was tastefully decorated. The personnel was warm and interested in the residents. They had good food, and they had a fireplace in the lobby and many of their occupational therapy activities occurred in that lobby as well as other kinds of meetings, church services, or concerts that other businesses would hold for them. It was good care, and the staff was attentive to my mother-in-law's needs.

My mom is here. It offers the most care for my mother. We like it better than the other facilities we visited. It's close to my sister, who spends a lot of time with her. The staff is very helpful and everything we could ask for. My mom raves about the food. What impresses me are the cleanliness, open spaces, and the daily activities. The staff is very warm and welcoming. The facility has new furnishings; they're very classy.

I had a tour; however, I was not able to actually see any room. The place was fine. I liked its proximity to everything from shopping, to hospital, medical appointments, and families.

It is a really great place. It is very close to a hospital, and it is really nice. I went in there actually before my meeting time with the lady I was supposed to meet with, and I talked with the some of the ladies and gentlemen that live there; they really like it. It is a beautiful place, and I like the fact that it is all on one floor. It is just very nice. The staff was very nice. I only met with the one lady, and she showed us around. She showed me the calendar, and it is quite a lot. They have a completely full monthly schedule of different things to do every day. They have trips to Wal-Mart and even rides in the country on the bus. I kind of like that the residents are able to sign up so they could do that. I also asked about us coming and taking my mom out for the weekend, and there was no problem it. It is very comfortable and homey, and it did not seem like an institution. It is lovely, and I think if my mom is going someplace, I would like to take her to see it. I was viewing it to make sure it is a nice place, and I thought it is really nice. I would definitely take her back to see this one.

My mom feels very comfortable here. At the beginning, she was resistant about going, but now she's very happy there. They have a very, very caring staff and she is being well taken care of. The place is all very clean, the food was very good, and they have activities where they also include the families. They have 64 residents in the facility.
