My dad was a resident of Wellington Estates at Spring Lake. Everybody there was professional. They took care of everybody. The place was well-managed and kept. I had no complaints about it. The food wasn't too bad. They had programs if you wanted to partake but he wasn't interested. The room was well-kept and had a nice window view. We furnished the furniture but overall everything was nice and they had a kitchen.

My mother has moved into Wellington Estates at Spring Lake. The grounds are beautiful. The staff is very warm and welcoming. There are lots of activities. It's perfect for my mom. I haven't tried the food, but my mom is very happy. I think it's about right on par with everyone else, but they were very helpful with our financial situation. We were short on the required funds, but they were willing to work with us. That to me was more valuable.

We visited Wellington Estates at Spring Lake. Everybody seemed very kind, caring, compassionate, and concerned about the resident's well-being. We saw a room that they had set up as a sample room; it was very nicely decorated. It was in good shape and very pleasant, it would have worked very nicely. The dining area looked very pleasant, they also had a separate area that could be used for special occasions like a little gathering. The grounds were beautifully kept. There was someone doing a jigsaw puzzle and being helped by an aide, and there was another little group of residents either talking or reading together. There was an activity room there, there's a coffee or snack center, it was a very lovely facility.

Wellington Estates at Spring Lake was a nice place. They have the same accommodations basically as the other facility. Their grounds were very nice. It was an older place, and they had carpeting instead of hard floors. I think the hard floors are probably a little cleaner. They make all their own bread, pastries, and things. So they probably have a very good chef there, as far as the food goes. They were very good. The woman who owns it and runs it is a very nice girl. One of the reasons we chose not to go there was because I was concerned that if something happens to her health-wise, I'm not sure who's going to be running the place. So I was concerned about the ongoing business there. In Wellington, they have assisted living, they also have memory, and that's as far as they go. They don't have nursing per se if you were hospice. They've got doctors on call, but they don't have residents. The staff members were friendly, seemed capable, and clean. I think that they could do a little better, but it didn't seem like it was dirty.

I highly recommend Wellington Estates on Rt 35 in Spring Lake. They have small studios with their own handicapped bathroom & kitchenette. The whole facility got a renovation recently and it is beautiful inside and out. The rear property was beautifully hardscaped and landscaped with patios, walking paths, large koi pond, pergolas, gazebos, putting green, bocce court, beautiful built in barbecues that resident families can reserve for private barbecues with their loved ones, and lots of flowering shrubs and flowers. I don't know of many places with this kind of outdoor area. But, most importantly, your loved one will be treated like family by all the caring staff! My father has lived at Wellington for five years.

My mother is in Wellington Estates at Spring Lake. They did a whole bunch of new upgrades and we had brand-new furniture put in. They have their own chef and a barbecue area available when you want to go out with your family member. It's really nice in their waiting area because they have teas, coffees, and snacks. They're putting in a walking path, so you can get out in the summer, and a bocce court, too. The staff is really nice and super sweet, and have been there a long time. One of the staff members said that they had been there 10 years and they weren't even the longest term employee. The turnover is low, which is nice. In the memory care area, they don't bring them out to the dining area. The food is very good. She had eggs, bacon and French toast for breakfast, which was pretty appropriate. They seem to have everything under control.

I visited Wellington Estates at Spring Lake, it was very nice, and it was well-cared for. The staff I met was nice. It's on a highway, but very close to shopping if you have a car. They're in the process of redoing everything, so I'm not sure if they're nicer now. I know they have a gym and walking paths. I think they could use more aides.
